Has anyone else noticed how toxic the Walking Dead forums have become?
Seriously, all the other boards are filled with civil discussion and jokes and laughter, but the walking dead board is filled with all this arguing and shit. The only reason I keep going back is because it's like looking at a horrible car wreck. I'm disgusted, yet curious.
However, I can't help but imagine TellTale staff twiddling their fingers, looking at the shit storm they've started and going
"Yes...Excellent. All according to plan."

I think it's mainly because the nicer people of the forum have either left or went to another board on this forum and allowed those people to run amok. And people don't flag people who are going against the rules.
People keep making pointless threads, and starting flame wars over nothing.

I think that's kind of understandable, considering the usual topics regarding the game have been pretty much beaten to death.
I find The Walking Dead forums actually boring more than anything else TBH. Everything that was needed to be discussed has been discussed, leading to people making pointless threads and bringing up the same old topics.
Yeah, a thread discussing if Jane is attractive was even derailed by arguing. It's normally the same users, too. I found all the arguments entertaining about a month ago but now I am bored and slightly annoyed by them.
Yeah, the few user's that do argue derail every thread in existence, if they were banned I think the TWD forum would probably be better.
If people learn to accept each other's opinions then that would make things better.
It's a freaking war zone. I couldn't believe it when I saw people putting down others for wanting to buy the action figure.

It's noticeably been like this since the release of season two, but I'd like to believe the general attitude of the board changed when the forums turned into...whatever this is.

Noticed this shit too. I left the TWD forums a while ago and I sure as hell ain't coming back until Season 3 comes out.
There is a shitstorm out there because some people can't handle jokes and other people's opinions ;_; While other forums are having a good time, the TWD forums are just fucked up, and badly. I usually see the same persons protecting the characters they like with their lifes. I mean, this is just a game. I like Kenny but I still don't start arguing with some Jane fans. I actually haven't even said that I like him, because the shitstorm would begin.

I've witnessed people say some really fucked up shit, so I wouldn't have even been shocked.
I'm actually kind of terrified of joining in on various TWD discussions because of this. I suppose it's good I managed to avoid the TWD section for the most part, even though I still plan on posting frequently on there whenever I get to play the second season for myself.
Our world is a corrupted place.
It's filled with the good and innocent ones while there are liars, hypocrites, assholes, and etc,.
I've only come across a couple civilized debates where neither of the two insulted each other.
The most annoying part of it is the same people doing and they don't even care. Glad some of them got banned.

They're currently better than they used to be during TWD season 2.

To be honest, I think the forum is okay. I haven't had many run in's with people on there at all. If you respect each other's opinions, there shouldn't be so much arguing, but, there is. That's life, unfortunately.
