My dad is Italian and my mom is black. A lot of people think I'm fully black and when I tell them i'm half Italian they act surprised. When you think about it Italians aren't like the rest of the whites some people don't even consider Italians white. Italians were subject to racism just like the blacks and asians and latinos or any other race that isn't white for that matter. Search up the largest mass lynching 11 Italians were hung. Anyways I'm proud of both my black and italian roots. The moors which is a North African tribe actually pillaged Italy so a lot of Italians have a bit of black blood in them too.

There are no weird mixes.
Yeah I know I meant not as common
What race are you if you don't mind me asking
It's not weird necessarily. I'm sure there are blacks in Italy, who have kids with Italians.
I don't think it's weird or anything but it seems uncommon. (Or at least in America)
I'm Italian, and its the best thing in this world to be. No one fights harder, loves harder, has more passion or drive.
Weird? No. Uncommon? Maybe but that's not a problem, is it?
There is no weird mix... The world is full of beautiful combinations and any thing involving Italy is even better for me.
Have a compliment:
sei bella come una fiore rosa in primavera. :P
This mix? No. Asking whether it's weird or not on some random forum? Yeah, definitely weird.
I'm just a white mutt.
I used to have a friend who's half black (Jamaican) and Chinese. Nothing is weird to me.
I have a buddy (both from here and know him personally) and he's Portuguese, dating an African American woman and they are expecting their 1st child in Feb. Nothing it 'weird' to me these days, especially in the year 2014.
Vin Diesel is partly Italian and partly black.
Nope, but it would probably depend on where they met and were dating. In the States not so much but, I would suspect in Italia it would be extermely rare.
