  • Chose Cersei although Cersei seemed to think that my Mira was too good at avoiding questions and that annoyed her.

I asked Margery for help because I've always had a soft spot for Margery and I knew she would try to help.

I let Serra listen although she's possibly one of Cersei's spies.

I took Tyrion's offer. It seemed interesting.

I didn't take anything. I need Margery to trust Mira.

Sided with Cersei - Marg said to please Cersei so I threw her under the bus.

Asked Marg for help - Gotta help my peeps.

Kicked Serra out - No way was I trusting her she said she would marry Joffery

Did not Steal from Marg - It was bad enough I asked her for help I was not pressing my luck with her.

  • The thing is you can piss her off by being coy moreso then saying it directly to her face.

Exactly. I've dreamed of having the opportunity to piss Cersei off ever since I started watching the show. Sorry, Margaery - there's no way I'm going to pass that up.

  • Didn't know you could send help by forgery.....in time to matter aka Ethan. Now I must just to see how crazy The Queens become. Can not imagine its gonna be good. Really didnt know you could use the key or Sygil this EP or It would already be done. This feels like cannon to me She is aForrester no way she would let that moment pass. A noble sacrifice for her family that will bite her in the arse and accomplish zero for her family. Really sure now that where Maria is concerned. These are the cannon actions that get her killed:( Nothing to do but wait her blood will run even if you go to work for the current Queens bro. But thats Just a theroy .....A Game of Thrones ....bah forget it :)

  • Ummm wouldnt the boy being a spy for Varys be...you know....a good thing?

Varys is probably one of the best people to have on your good side

    * I let the coal kid in but I didn't tell him anything, he is a spy I'm sure of it, and I think he's Varys's * I swore loyalty to the king.

  • and that the seal and key were intentionally left out to test Mira

I trust Tyrell's about as much as I trust Lanisters. I woudnt be surprised to learn that she did not even ask for Joffrey's help and tore her dress on purpose.

-Hedged my bets and took the middle road with all responses to the queen. Responses like the she is the most dangerous handmaiden in the all

  • Mmm but Varys is on our side only as long as he has need for us, after that he ignores us or worse, gets rid of us. But of course I want to know what plans the Spider has for Mira. :)

  • I dunno, Littlefinger is definately that sort of person but Varys I dunno, Varys is more neutral-goodish and probably takes care of his spies both out of benefit and decency. I was quick to assume coal boy was a Varys spy and that didnt bother me. I do wonder the direction they would go in the sense of its implications; the TV show hasnt dwelved into Varys's agenda yet like the books and I doubt this game will make any particular notion about it.

I have since changed my choices.

    • I chose to appease Margaery by appeasing the queen. That was the task from the outset.
    • I passed on my mother's request for Margaery to appeal to the king for protection because my mother was counting on me to make the request. Loyalty to the king or death is the price you pay when your rebellion fails, and the Freys had already slaughtered the Starks and their allies at the Twins under the protection of the Lannisters. At that time, I believed my request to be reasonable. But Joffrey is Joffrey.
    • I allowed Sera to listen because I decided it was better to be open with her at the cost of being vulnerable rather than show distrust and give her reason to plot against me, or see our friendship as a lesser price in her eyes to pay for something she wants.
    • I didn't have the opportunity to forge anything because I'm not a thief.

    unmarked

    • I received Tyrion's request favorably. What I like about this choice is that the option is open, he doesn't make note of anything but your farewell. It is indeed, as Mira said, a risk I'm willing to take, I just want all my options on the table, and if Tyrion makes the offer again, I may take it if I consider the hit to Margaery's approval acceptable or something I can amend.
  • Yep, can't really see what use would Varys have for Mira, spy Margy? And even more I wonder how could he help Mira or her family?

Man, the fact the coal boy seems so much one Varys' spies makes me wonder if it's a double bluff on the writer's part.

Like if he's actually one of Little Finger's creatures, or even Cersei's doing some digging on you, in order to needle Margaery. Like, giving you just enough intel to dig your own grave with.

(Although, admittedly, Cersei never struck me as much of a spymaster, and in fact, for all her talk in the show about the game of thrones, she wields her power more like a cudgel than a scalpel. She'll threaten to strangle Margaery and execute Littlefinger on the spot.)

Varys does love his ''little birds'' so we don't need to guess about the coal kid. He IS Varys' spy and Sera is slightly sketchy, so I would ponder as if she will be telling Cersei about what goes on.

I'm trying to play all the angles here:

Swore loyalty to the king (though I messed up and said "the one true King").

Irritated Margery a little bit but stayed on her good side.

Let Sera stay and listen (if Cersei finds out about the conversation I'll know Sera is a snitch)

Asked Margery for help. She failed me.

Stole the key and seal (either to forge something or frame Sera if the opportunity arises)

Took Tyrion up on his deal.

Was honest with the coal kid because I want my own little birdies in King's Landing.

    • Was honest and kind towards the coal boy. I wouldn't say I trust him, since King's Landing is full of spies and little birds, but that was no reason to treat him as an enemy

    • Used my "remarkable talent for answering questions without actually saying anything", then swore loyalty to Margery. My loyalty to her is absolute, and I hope that doesn't bite me later. Also, fuck the king!

    • Declined Tyrion's offer. Too much of a risk.

    • Let Sera stay. I honestly don't think she's a spy, just another innocent girl caught up in the political backstabbing that is King's Landing. But if Cersei learns of it, at least I'll know for sure.

    • Asked for Margery's help, noting it was my mother insisting it. Like Mira herself says, I wouldn't normally ask such a thing, especially after the incident with Cersei, but the circumstances force my hand here. Apologized profusely after to Margery after it failed.

    • Stole nothing. I trust Margery, and need her to trust Mira

  • Never thought of that, K0T0.

Yep, can't really see what use would Varys have for Mira, spy Margy? And even more I wonder how could he help Mira or her family?

  • That's the thing really, when will his future happen...

    * I let the coal kid in but I didn't tell him anything, he is a spy I'm sure of it, and I think he's Varys's * I swore loyalty to the king.

  • Ugh and its so shiny, so tempting to pick up...

    Never thought of that, K0T0.

  • OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Please, no! I trust no one now!

I think Sera might be Cerseis (if she even is a spy) and the coal kid is most certainly a little bird of Varys.

  • I trusted the coal boy. But I'll be ready if he tries anything funny.
Swore loyalty to Joffery. Gotta keep the crown happy.
Accepted Tyrion's offer. I need all the help I can get.
Let Sera stay. I don't trust her, but I don't want to ACT like I distrust her.
Asked Marge for help. Don't trust her either, but my family needed help.
Stole only the key. Thought it would be useful.

  • Varys seems to have a desire to create as much chaos as possible to pave the way to the throne for a certain someone. I am not sure what help a minor house can do to provide that. Also, pacifying the north doesn't seem to align with his interests. (At least, what I think his interests are)

Yep, can't really see what use would Varys have for Mira, spy Margy? And even more I wonder how could he help Mira or her family?

  • In the last book it's revealed that during the Sack of King's Landing Varys switched Rhaegar's son with another and he sent the baby to Magister Illyrio and Rhaegar's friend and Aerys' brief Hand Jon Connigton. Varys has worked ever since to pave Aegon's way. So yeah I don't really see how Mira would help his interests :)

  • Yes Margaery ripping her own dress and saying it was Joffrey, did cross my mind too. I guess that's what King's Landing does to you haha, it starts to make you paranoid - not without good cause I might add =p.

  • EXACTLY! PESAN YOU ARE A GENIUS! seriously you are the only other guy i've met that actually knows about this.

  • Anyone know playing as mira if you can do send any help besides forging the letter?

  • That's what the Red Keep does to you I guess.

OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Please, no! I trust no one now!

  • If you choose not to forge the letter, you are not given another option to help. The result is that when playing as Rodrik you have to persuade Eleana to agree to the marriage. If I remember correctly I think it involves you offering her family half of the iron wood.

    • I appeased Cersei as best I could, though I tried not to be too eager about it. Swore loyalty to the king.
    • I initially declined Tyrion's suggestion. The way I play Mira, she doesn't actually believe can speak on behalf of her family, let alone make deals without notifying them.
    • I asked Margaery for help, though I didn't expect anything to come of it.
    • Sera got to stay, mostly because it would seem more suspicious if I sent her away and technically had nothing to hide at that stage.
    • I stole both the seal and the key. I knew I wanted the seal. Not sure what the key was for, but... hey... keys are always useful for something.
    • Behaved generally tsundere around coalboy. i.e. Skeptical and not particularly nice to him, but still let him do as he seemed he wanted to. There is something definitely off about the way he behaves, and as such I'm only willing to let it continue as long as Mira benefits from it.

Can't entirely remember where the choices for the first episode stop and the ones for the second / third begin... but Tyrion pretty much forced me to cut a deal with him later, to my great annoyance. I had Mira be somewhat bitchy and aloof to Sera (she obviously has no self-control and is a trouble-magnet, and frankly I wish she'd just go away), and apologetic but mostly honest to Margaery ... and forged the hell out of that letter... and continued to be tsundere to coalboy, to his increasing frustration.
