Guy dot Brush

I know that everyone's familiar with how Guybrush got his famous name (They didn't have a name yet, so they call him 'Guy', but then the file's extension made him 'Guy.Brush' and hence his name).

What do you think his name would've been if this never happened?

Personally, I think his first name would've been 'Jack', or 'Jim', or 'Guyjpeg'.

    Didn't know that. What type of file is a .brush then?

    Well they might have just left it as Guy, because it can be a name itself. Guy Threepwood.... hmmm no it can only be Guybrush D: If he never had that name, the game might not have even been made a comedy...

    If they had no idea for the character's name, then where does Threepwood come from?

    From the SCUMM Bar FAQ:
    [..] Threepwood was decided in a company contest - the name comes from the book "The Brinkmanship of Galahad Threepwood" (US title). "Threepwood" is also rumoured to be the name of Dave Grossman's character in RPGs.
