The Telltale games that you love
Alright guys, which of Telltale's adventures do you love the most and why?
I have all the Sam and Max games but haven't really played much of them yet. Also the Tales of Monkey Island were beautiful and everything.
I have to say my most favorite one is the first season of the Walking Dead.I guess the Game of Thrones adventure is second but I can't decide between Jurassic Park and The Wolf Among Us. Both are beautiful in their own way.
Back to the future is also pretty awesome. One of the real adventure games before Telltale focused more on storytelling than...well actual gaming.

(Note: I have only played BTTF, TWD, TWAU, TWD S2, TFTB and GOT, and I watched a play through of JP, I plan on getting the Sam & Max complete pack during the winter sale so this could change).
For me, my favorites are TWD, TWAU, and TFTB from what we've seen from the first episode so far.
Sam & Max DUH
TWAU
TWD S1 & S2
TFTBL Only 1 Episode Released
GOT Only 1 Episode Released
BTTF
Tales From Monkey Island
Strong Bad Cool Games For Attractive People
I LOVE a lot of Telltale games 0.0
TWD season 1 and TWAU. Not gonna say TFTBL and GoT yet, as there has only been one episode made each, but, I'm thinking they are gonna be added to my favourites list soon enough.
This.
I love so many Telltale series, it's easier for me to break them down by genre:
Puzzle Adventure Games:
Wallace & Gromit's Grand Adventures (The best adaptation of a series to date, as it feels just like a playable Wallace & Gromit short, and excellent puzzles)
Tales of Monkey Island (A great continuation of a classic adventure game series, really funny (yet heartbreaking at the end of episode 4), fun puzzles)
Sam & Max Season Two (Had the best puzzles of any Telltale game season to date)
Sam & Max: The Devil's Playhouse (had the best story of any Sam & Max season)
Strong Bad's Cool Game for Attractive People (an excellent adaptation of the source material, really funny, the extras were fun, and I really liked how you could play the game even after you completed it, with new dialog to boot)
Side games:
Puzzle Agent 1 and 2 (I really like the Grickle cartoons, and this was just as creepy and absurd and had some pretty good puzzles)
Poker Night 1 and 2 (I really do like these, as the dialog between the characters is really funny, especially the second game with the side stories, specifically the ones about Zyzobia and Brock's ancestors)
Cinematic Adventures:
The Walking Dead: Season One (excellent story, and had the best combination of gameplay and choice in any of Telltale's cinematic adventures yet in episode 4)
The Wolf Among Us (excellent story, and I really liked the addition of the ability to choose which location to visit first. I hope Telltale continues that in a future cinematic adventure)
It's too early to tell, but I really like the first episode of Tales from the Borderlands too (it's great to see Telltale go back to comedy, and it's done well here so far, plus the ability to use the bionic eye opens up so many possibilities beyond moving the story forward as there are so many jokes to be found since you can use it on so many things throughout the game)
I also really liked the story in Back to the Future: The Game. I'd love to see a Back to the Future game made in a cinematic adventure style (preferably with puzzles mixed in, I'd personally be happy even if the puzzles were implemented like those in The Walking Dead: Season One: Episode 4)
And an honorable mention to CSI: Fatal Conspiracy. The writing was quite good in this one, and the cases connected in a really natural way. I also have to note that Andrew Chaikin's performance in the case "Burned Out" is really memorable. It actually made me cry, and I definitely did not expect that would ever happen while playing a CSI game.
I only played The Walking Dead and Game of Thrones and love both. On that note, I need to play more Telltale games. The Wolf Among Us and the Law & Order game has caught my attention.
Chronologically played:
Strong Bad Cool Games For Attractive People ( 2011 )
Law & Order Legacies ( The only telltale game who I don't liked, 2012 )
Jurassic Park ( 2012 )
The Walking Dead ( 2012-13 )
The Wolf Among Us ( 2013, December )
The Walking Dead Season 2 ( February 2014, I was without money to buy in the release :v )
Tales From The Borderlands ( 2014 )
Game of Thrones ( 2014 )
That's all... I never played a Sam & Max game '-'
If you want to play a Sam & Max game to see if you like their brand of humor, I'd suggest Sam & Max: The Devil's Playhouse, since it has the most solid story out of all of the seasons (and it's funny and heartbreaking all at once).
If you liked the puzzles in Strong Bad's Cool Game For Attractive People, I'd also suggest picking up Tales of Monkey Island. It's the first game that had Telltale's now signature season long storylines with cliffhangers, and the story is still among their best.
If you don't mind picking up games for PC on disc instead of download (because it's no longer available through digital distribution), I also recommend Wallace & Gromit's Grand Adventures. You can pick it up on Amazon for just $10 USD. It's well worth that price. It has the perfect blend of cinematic story telling and puzzles. Telltale has yet to top that game in terms of both storytelling and gameplay, in my opinion.
Minecraft!
The game is on steam?
Is on steam? I already have seen gameplays and loved it
I'm don't have too much interest in this one. The game is more about puzzles, and it's not my style. EDIT: Strong Bad is too, but it's funny .-.
Wolf Among Us is amazing, really recommend getting it. You should buy Tales from the Borderlands instead of Law and Order (haven't bought Law and Order, but from the first ep.1 of Tales from the Borderlands it is really good and would recommend getting it as well).
Wolf Among Us and Walking Dead S1 are a tie for me. Tales from the Borderlands will probably make its way in the middle of the list but Game of Thrones has the potential to become my favorite if the rest of the episodes are really good and the story advances well.
I third this :P
Yeah, they're both on Steam (and they're on sale too for the Holidays!). Tales of Monkey Island is $8.74 USD on sale and Sam & Max: The Devil's Playhouse is $4.99 USD on sale. Even better yet, the complete pack of all three seasons of Sam & Max is only $9.99 USD on sale. Season One has rough edges, as Telltale was just starting out, and they're just getting the hang of the episodic format, but it's still fun (it really starts picking up steam from Season One Episode 4 onward). Season Two is especially worth playing, as Telltale worked out most of the kinks by then, and it's a much better season than the first. Even with the rough edges, the early seasons are still funny, and are definitely worth $3.33 a piece.
Thank you!
Thats funny.
I also really liked the story in Back to the Future: The Game. I'd love to see a Back to the Future game made in a cinematic adventure style (preferably with puzzles mixed in, I'd personally be happy even if the puzzles were implemented like those in The Walking Dead: Season One: Episode 4)
Oh yeah, that would be pretty cool. I enjoyed BTTF. Sure, its not the best Telltale game but it was still done pretty well.
Cool, I might consider getting them myself.
These are the games I've played
Haven't played GOT or TFTBL yet.
Done.
Woah, there.
back to the future (just waiting on season two ) twd, twau, sam and max, so far game of thrones and borderlands are both awesome
TWD both seasons and The wolf among us.
...
What's wrong with that?
You waiting for all episodes of GOT and TFTB to be released?
Eh, Not really, didn't do that with TWAU or TWD Season 2, Just having a Self Debate if I would like it or not :P
I'd say I'm 95% sure most people would like TFTB's first episode, to me GOT's first episode was OK, however it was mostly set up and had a really good ending. I say they have some really good potential, with TFTB's first episode being my favorite Telltale episode to date.
Like @dojo32161 said, both are very good. I enjoyed GoT Ep.1 more than TFTB Ep.1 (just my opinion), but both games are very enjoyable. Would suggest getting both of them.
Haha, nothing. I've just never seen anyone say that before.
In no particular order:
BTTF
JP
TWDG Season 1 and 2
TWAU
TFTB
GOT
Nothing wrong with that. The Wolf Among Us is actually number 1 for me.
