My freeware games have turned into full versions
Years and years ago, Telltale Games used to give away single episodes of Wallace and Gromit, Strong Bad, and Back to the Future. But only the first episode, mind you. However, I logged in today to find that I now have access to all the other episodes as well! I haven't used my account in a while. Did I miss something?

It's possible. Telltale doesn't sell single episodes anymore, so if you had one, it might have been easier to just give you the rest of the game free than figure out how to program the new forums to restrict to a single episode.
I know I had BTTF episode 1, and it now appears I have the entire season, but I never finished episode 1, so I haven't tried to see if I can play any of the other episodes, or if they just say "Sorry!" after I download them.
If they work, congratulations!
I downloaded several episodes and they all worked; no keys or activation were required either prior to or after installation. Very awesome.
If Telltale really did it like you described, then that's super impressive. I bet anyone else would've just deleted those free episodes from my account, given that I already agreed to all those EULAs and stuff...
