Kenny and Sarah
Correct me if I'm wrong, but I was just thinking, and I can't think of a single time Kenny ever speaks to Sarah, uses Sarah's name or talks about her.

Seems legit, i can't remember a scene either. They probably decided to add him in after writing the original story.
I don't think he talks to Bonnie, either.
Just thought it was kind of interesting.
I believe Kenny and his return was a part of the original story.
Your point is?
No point. I just thought it was kind of strange.
Kenny didn't talk to Clementine either in season 1. I don't see why he would want to go talk to Sarah since he doesn't really know her, and what would he say ?
Yes he did, his second line in the game is spoken to her. ("You just slept in a barn, little lady.") He also told her to get on the train after she said that Duck was sick.
Anyway, yeah, he never acknowledged Sarah.
I kinda wish he had. Maybe it's too much of a stretch to think Kenny would try to comfort her seeing as he had lost a loved one in the herd as well, or if Sarah wouldn't be scared out of her wits of him if he tried to speak with her, I don't know. Maybe knowing what he did to Carver scared her. I'm pretty sure all the characters except Rebecca forgot about Sarah at that point though, considering how nobody ever brought up her death.
Well its not strange. Think about it about what they could possibly talk about?
I don't think Nick refers to or acknowledges Sarah either.
He does in the herd, I think he's the first one to go after her once Carlos dies, and then Luke goes after them both.
Kenny was planned from the start
Actually it's Luke that goes after her first, then Nick follows him just before being shot in the shoulder.
It was planned he would return at some point, not that the entire season would be about him.
Well he was planned some what early because Luke was going to wear a hat but they changed it because they didnt want Kenny and Luke to both have hats, although there is a screenshot that you can find Luke with a hat, Ill see if I can find it
Edit: here it is
It was that Luke actually had Nick´s appearence , but they changed it anyways :P
Yeah Nick had no hat, but Luke did then they switched ;3
Yeah, it's pretty odd considering she was the only other child in Clem's group and Kenny was probably RIGHT THERE WHEN SHE WAS GETTING EATEN ALIVE. When he's angsting about how "pure" and "unfit for this world" Duck was, I could only think 'Sarah fits that description a lot better.'
Then again, everyone forgetting about her immediately after AJ's birth is really suspicious. There's a difference between trying to stay positive and just plain ignoring what just happened.
Kenny wasn't right there for either of her deaths...For her first, he wasn't even there...For her other, he was inside not outside.
It's still telling that he gives more of a shit about Alvin - some guy he literally never interacted with - than Sarah, a girl who actually died just as he was delivering AJ.
Besides, it's just bad writing for the devs to expect us to remember some character who died last season while not giving a shit about the people who we SAW DIE in this season. Point is, I rolled my eyes when Duck was called 'pure' because there was a much more glaringly obvious example of a 'pure child' who had a far stronger presence and who actually died in the previous episode.
I didn't disagree with you other than that "Kenny being right there" part.
I was a little perplexed why he didn't have a reaction to Sarah's death it sort of unnerved me how no one cared.
The writers weren't even trying to hide how much they didn't care about her at that point, that's why. I was hoping Clementine would have gotten the chance to talk about her, that's what my Clem would have wanted, but the option never really came up.
Amid The Ruins sucked hard. The worst Telltale episode I've ever played by far. The writers showed no care for Sarah a d even less for Nick.
I am also aware of this. Sarah is one of very few in the cabin group that Kenny didn't get to interact with. The others were Pete and Alvin. You know, the closest that he did get to interacting with Sarah was when Walter announced that dinner is served and they both briefly walked side by side to the tables.
Also when he's raging in the back of the truck, he notices Sarah crying and looks sad
Actually he did but in a subtle way, when the cabin group first arrive at the lodge and they were going back and forth arguing then again in giving up the weapons..Kenny softens his stance when Sarah mentions the christmas decorarions/tree from seeing how innocent she was and here they are fighting about nothing.
Only thing I can remember, it's when Sarah finds terrible that Kenny lost his whole family.
They pushed way too much bullshit into one episode. The deaths of Episode 4 should have spanned something more like three episodes, honestly. Not that they had that much time, but... maybe Telltale should consider not biting off more than they can chew, and finding ways to wrap up a character's role without giving them brutal deaths that no one can even acknowledge because they're already on to the next dramafest.
He made her cry on the way to Carver's camp in episode 3. I know that is not actually talking to her but it is something.
I never even considered this, but it's such a good point. For a man who acts like children are his first priority, he certainly doesn't seem to care when a traumatized child suffers a brutal death.
I think this is more a testament about how Sarah was nothing but a plot device they didn't care about, though, than it is a reflection of Kenny's character. Though it's canon, regardless.
Yes.
I think it says more about their writing priorities and subconscious biases than it does actual character points.
Jesus, dude.
He found it strange, so what?
2 times in the whole season. That's it.
There's unused audio of Nick saying "Get Sarah!" in the herd. I think it was Nick? It sounded like him, but at the same time, it sounded like Luke too.
Because they can survive two years, but not Episode 4. Nice going, Telltale.
2 compared to 0.
"You slept in a barn, little lady."
"Get on the train, Clementine."
But I'm sure they spoke during the 3 month time skip. I mean- her best friend was his son.
I think she was crying because she was GOING BACK TO CARVER'S.
