About the [Remove Ribbon] options

There was options that came up twice for Nerissa and once for Vivian. And none of them led to removing any ribbons.

Do you think it would've been better if Telltale allowed at least one ribbon to get removed? I believe so. Like at the end with Nerissa.

That would have been so awesome! LOLS....Annnddd her head just rolls off with a THUD. I could just see Bigby saying, "Uh....Well shit."

  • I can see myself using it on Nerissa at the end. Have Bigby pull it off, a moment of green and his eyes bewildered and like 'DAFUQ' and his final words being 'You....' And it cuts to black wit Faith's words. 'I'll be seeing you around Wolf.'

At least pulling of ONE ribbon would have made my day. XD

  • EXACTLY! After playing episode 5 twice I thought why couldn't we remove Vivian's ribbon. There was such option, Bigby tried to do it, Vivian said no and he just obeyed her lol. We wouldn't hear her speech which was pretty cool but still I think the scene would be better if we just removed her ribbon.

About Nerissa - that would have too much of an impatct for the rest of game :p But I'd really gladly kill Vivian.

You'll gladly kill a blonde cutie, just like that? Damn, that's cold.

    My idea was like this:

    Bigby: "You're still wearing that"

Nerissa: "Oh yeah, I guess I am"

Bigby: "You know, the spell has been broken"

Nerissa: "Yeah, but... I guess we can try"

Then Nerissa turns her head at Bigby and we're given two options: "[Remove Ribbon]" & "No. You should do it".

The first option, the ribbon comes off, Nerissa gasps, and she is perfectly fine. Then Nerissa gives Bigby a hug.

The second option, Nerissa just replies, "Yeah. I'll do this on my own. Someday."

I didn't know you couldn't actually remove Nerissa's ribbon, but that makes sense since she gets defensive if you even suggest it, and I doubt Bigby would be so cold and dense as to remove it against her will, especially given that it was pretty obvious removing it would likely be fatal, even before it was confirmed by Vivian.

Still, that could have been interesting, because it could affect the ending without having too big an impact on things that the game couldn't handle it. Nerissa stays out of things until resurfacing at The Crooked Man's trial, and her absence would mean that her "proof" isn't provided at the last minute, which could mean a different reaction from the crowd if the player chooses to throw him down the well. Regardless of that last choice though, there would have to be a different ending, which would mean only one additional scene. Perhaps one of the other girls could have shown up to fill Bigby in on Nerissa's part in the whole thing in her place, or perhaps there could have been a different ending entirely, possibly one with Snow.

  • I would have liked if you could remove Nerissa's ribbon, and her head stays on. It would have been a powerful scene IMO

  • To me it makes sense, even if you decide to do something that doesn't mean the other characters will let you do it, especially if their life is on the line or it's something sentimental.

  • Bigby: You need to let that go.

    [Removes Ribbon]

    Nerissa's head falls off

    Bigby:... Shit

My idea was like this: Bigby: "You're still wearing that" Nerissa: "Oh yeah, I guess I am" Bigby: "You know, the spell has been bro
