2010 Sam & Max Team Fortress Items Sold on Steam Marketplace for REAL MONEY ??

I can barely belive this, but back in 2010 I got Sam & Max Season 3 via Telltale and Linked the purchase with Steam, so I can download my purchases there and here (would love to see the other games linked too btw)

During that process I got 3 'Sam & Max' Team Fortress 2 DLC items.

I dont like Team Fortress 2 , but this Xmas I struggled to understand this Steam 'Gem' trading thing (still not 100%)
Today I listed these 3 DLC items on the Steam Marketplace thinking it was some sort of virtual money for this Gem thing

ALL sold = £75 in my 'steam wallet' which I can buy actual games with !!
Rabbit Ears = £53
A gun = £10
The other gun = £12

It all seems quite odd , and I cant imagine anyone paying real money for 'Unique' DLC
(unless they colleted a lot of 'Gems' and converted them into a tradeable amount)

My point is , if you have 3 pointless Sam & Max items in your steam 'inventory' .. sell em !
