Does Telltale Do Requests?

edited June 2009 in General Chat
The only point and click adventure title I played as a kid was Ripley's Believe It or Not: The Riddle of Master Lu. I loved that game, and with Telltale making a new Monkey Island (A continuation of an obvious classic), it got me wondering if they have any interest in acquiring a license from the Ripley people to make a similar continuation or remake. I don't know how the Telltale Tool would mesh with mildly realistic-looking graphics and integrated live-action sequences (A la Riddle of Master Lu), but I would certainly like to see the Telltale interpretation.

I find this a tad unlikely. You and a few others are probably the only people who remember that game. I recommend DOSBox for playing the game, and I'm sure that with a little searching, you can find the game online. However I don't think that TellTale would make this game.

"Does Telltale do requests?" What a weird question... I can't even put into words what's weird about it

That it makes you want to respond with something like "now play Stairway to Heaven"?

I wrote Free Bird down first before changing it. I wasn't sure if people would get it.
