If this was posted in January, how could you know Rodrik was still alive? Episode 2 came out in febuary right? I didn't play the game at the time so was the fact that Rodrik's shadow could be seen in the menu page and the fact that his codex page says "Presumed dead" so noticable and convincing that everyone just assumed it or am I missing something?
It should have been clear that Asher or Rodrik were going to die. Because when Asher arrives at Ironrath. What then? We cant play as them both in the same spot. And someone traveling somewhere was unlikely.

Asher recovers, Royland manages to train him to be a proper lord, they meet up with Beskha and Ryon. Gared and the bastards come, take back Ironhall, Asher marries Gwyn and they live happily ever after.

Well, Tales from the Borderlands managed to have two POVs in the same place(Rhys & Fiona)without killing them, GoT would've handled it just as well.
After a month or so everyone figured out Rodrik was alive.

Okay then:) Were there any clues except the ones i mentioned or was it just obvious?
Gared and the bastards make it to Ironrath? Knowing Game of thrones and Telltale Games something will go wrong.
The codex's looked similar. Plus, it never did make any sense how Rodrik would have died from a horse falling on him.
