Omg yes, I love Smash threads. Well Imma start off by giving you my mains. k? k.
Main: Falco
Secondary: Fox
Bread and Butter: JigglyPuff
Backup: Peach
Backup #2: Shulk
These are Smash Wii U btw.
For me I'm :
Main: Captain Falcon
Secondary: Fox
Bread and Butter: Palutena
Back up: Dark Pit
and Back Up 2: Mario
Do you have the Wii U or 3DS version? If so maybe someday we could smash?
Wiiu ;3
you would probably kick my ass tbh
I main the Wii Fit Trainer. A tricky character to use due to poor range and awkward hitboxes with her attacks, but I find her play-style very entertaining and rewarding once I got the hang of learning how her attacks work.
Ayyyy and yeah I probably would. Anytime someone has challenged me online I've won, NOT TO BRAG OR ANYTHING. :]
Main: Captain Falcon
Secondary: Shulk
Bread and Butter: Lucina
Backup: Robin
Backup 2: Link
Well for any smash fans who havnt heard, looks like Rayman is going to be a dlc
My mains:
Super Smash Bros. - Captain Falcon
Melee- Sheik and Young Link
Smash 4 - Sonic
(Brawl isn't on here cause it sucks.)
It was confirmed fake :`(
LOL SONIC
Yeah ;-;
Was really hoping for some Rayman action ;-;
I would main someone else but Smash 4 is laughable.
Whats wrong with smash 4?
The drop in quality drop from melee, Smash 4 is a good game but it feels very casual and there's very little skill involved. So I main Sonic to see how far I can get without real skill and I can repeatedly win.
Meta Knight and Falco for starters
Bruh, you literally played the game at a friends house, and probably haven't even went up against an actually good competitive player. Until you do, you don't have the right to call the game casual and have "very little skill involved" lmao. It's definitely not Melee, but it's such a step up from brawl that it is and will be considered at least moderately competitive.
Well lets be honest, Sonic is easy as fuck
^^^
That's the entire point of playing him, nearly every character in game takes little to no skill. Why not play as an easy character to stack wins when all of them take no skill anyway.
Yeah but most characters have more to them then just Side B + A repeat
Wii U version yes, 3DS version I play like everyday.
Considering I've actually played the game before, I can say that.
Of course it will be considered competitive, anything can be.
Nearly every character takes no skill? I can only think of 3 in smash 4 that take no skill, Diddy, Rosalina, and Sonic. other than them nearly every other character takes a ton of skill to play well. Hell the character viability in this game is through the roof but it's blocked out by how unbalanced those 3 are. I'd even go to say smash 4 is more balanced than Melee is in terms of characters. Saying the game takes little skill is one thing and could be agreeable to a certain extent but saying every character in the game takes no skill to play is just being a Melee elitist/looking at it with a black and white view.
Rossalina, A.k.a Let the Luma block all the enemies' attacks
Considering it only took me about 20 days and about 30 mins per session to get all the characters down and play well and also finding their kill move its simply not true that they take tons of skill to play well. Maybe for you it required tons of training to figure them out but it didn't for me.
So if I find the game easy to play and firmly believe that the game requires no skill to play (for me) I'm a melee elitist? Has it never occurred to you that I find the game easy to play? Just because I find melee better doesn't mean I think Smash 4 trash, by actually playing the game I found it easier to play than melee ever was.
@TDMshadowCP
bruh
@CreepingCake Take note nub, this is what 2 fairly skilled players look like.
You don't have proof that you can play well :P You need to actually play against someone who has fairly high skill with the game, maybe me if you ever get the chance? Till then I won't know if you're actually playing them right.
No but the fact that you say smash 4 is laughable and that there's a "quality drop" from Melee kinda makes it sound like you are. And again we'll see how easy it is to play when I know you're playing someone who's skilled at the game, rather then For Glory noobs. If For Glory online is what you're talking about when you say you play online then I can't really take that seriously, since 90% of For Glory players are absolute trash at the game.
Your point?
What makes you so good? Since obviously I play "For Glory" what makes you any better?
There's no right way to play.
Can I just say that Smash 4 is by far the best instalment of the series to date? I still can't get over how much I fucking love this game!!
I feel like every Smash just gets better than the last. I had a blast with the first one I had a ton of fun with Melee, Brawl was the shit and the best game I had on the Wii, and Smash 3DS/U is just amazing. Still wish Lucas was back...oh well.
My main was, is, and always will be Mario. I feel like he's a lot more versatile and flexible in terms of combos in Smash 4. I can do stuff with Mario in 4 that I can't do in the others.
The best part of it is that nearly EVERY SINGLE CHARACTER is great to use. I feel like I can pick random select in a match and have a great chance of winning, although I still can't figure out how to properly use Rosalina.
I promise you, if you face me in battle and I'm using Mario, you are going to have a bad day.
Not if I'm using Falco/Fox ;]
Ah, a Fox/Falco player, I see. They are quite fun to fight against
Mewtwo DLC is out today! I just bought it on 3DS.
~Mewtwo is love, Mewtwo is life~
After forgetting to Link my 3ds to my Wiiu and not getting Mewtwo, I was excited today. But because my Wiiu gamepad is busted, and you need it to add funds, I cant. But apparently you dont need a wiiu pad for cards. Off to the store then.
Nice, let us know if he's everything you hoped and dreamed he would be
You can add funds from a 3DS too, be it with a credit card or a pre-paid card. You can still buy the 3DS/WiiU Mewtwo combo from the 3DS and get a WiiU Mewtwo code from what I hear.
I love you. Thank you for saving me a trip
Speaking of Smash while it's still relevent, anyone here have the 3DS or Wii U version that'd like to fight? I promise I'll be a challenge ^-^
