supporting telltale question
I was wondering which way best supports telltale. Does it help telltale more for me to support the console releases or does it help better for me to get the games online?

Besides, I prefer to get things through Telltale's store. The DVD is a Telltale Store exclusive, and they seem to have gotten into the habit of providing incentives for people to pre-order direct from them.
That is, selling something that is downloaded or that can only be used online is more profitable than selling something that requires you to pay for the raw materials (in this case blank CDs and DVDs and their packaging) and their manufacture (burning them, putting them into boxes, etc), storage (warehouses, etc) and shipping.
So downloading games is probably better for telltale than buying hard copies.
But then they've already made hard copies of the game and need to reclaim as much of their losses as possible from that...
The best way to support them is to buy one (or more) of every product they have, even if it's not a game (books, t-shirts, clothing, posters, etc).
Unless they have a donation feature somewhere on the site. In which case just donate huge sums so they don't have to commit any resources (except the minimal bandwidth of you visiting the donations page) to you.
