Ironwood?
I know House Forrester and Lord Forrester don't really get mentioned all that much in the show and books, but does Ironwood get mentions? It seems like a fairly important thing to Westeros.

Well they are mentioned. Tyrion shield in the battle of the Green Fork is made of Ironwood. Oh and beyond the wall there are plenty of them. (North Grove maybe?) There are other mentions, but none seems to imply that it is THAT important to them. But, hey, wanna know something fun? Here in Brazil we have a three called Pau-Ferro, literally Iron-Wood. It is hard to chop it and burn it... in the colonial era of course. Now we do all sorts of things with it, but mostly musical instrument.
