You're right, we are all lovely people. XD
Similarly, a dlc that would add in more characters from the comics would be awesome in my book.
Rose Red, Prince Charming, Pinocchio, Boy Blue (why they didn't have him in the first season is still beyond me), and King Cole coming back from whatever trip he went on would be amazing to see.
We better at least a DLC, they have no excuse. Anyway, I would like one of these two to take place in a DLC -
War Stories
It'd be an action packed DLC that will be awesome from start to finish. Whether they literally just put the issue itself into a DLC or make it a different story set during Bigby's time in WWII, I don't care.
Fables "400 Days" type DLC
This will be a great way for us to see different locations in Fabletown that Bigby is restricted from going to or we just didn't see during the game. We can play through the perspective of maybe like 5 different Fables (whether from the game or new characters that are in the comics).
To be honest though, at the end of the day I don't care what the DLC is about. As long as its one last visit to Fabletown through Telltale's eyes
I'd like to see a DLC with Cinderella as the main character. We only got a glimpse of her file in Episode 4, and it would be nice to see her on her mission (I'd prefer to see her in her early days as spy for Fabletown, Cindy towards the main volume period just became the master spy for Fabletown [with almost no mistakes]. And I'd like to see her make mistakes and stumble, and learn spywork through experience).
I'd like to see the original story TellTale had planned before the rewrite that caused us to wait for 4 months.
You see her file in Ep.3 :P
Otherwise yes, I would like to see Cindy before she became the World's best spy...
It would be a non-canon DLC then...
I would like to see it also, but TellTale's games stick to canon now, so making a non-canon story would be 'odd' for them
Well...
Either we get a DLC that rounds off Season 1's story and TellTale declares 'the end' of TWAU...
Or like Shubba said; we get a 400 Days style DLC where we play as multiple Fables. My choice of characters would be:
Boy Blue (maybe just after Ep.5, Snow could approach him to become her assistant because Bluebeard won't stop pestering)
Grendel (Give us a backstory for the big lug )
Woodsman (Let's see how TellTale handles the 'real' encounter between Bigby and Woody all those centuries ago)
Bloody Mary (JUST BECAUSE SHE'S FREAKIN' AWESOME!)
Nerissa (Let's see what she gets up to... Is she who she says she is? Or is she Faith glamoured?)
I'm going to go with the classic and ask for a DLC which resolves Nerissa/Faith question. The story is about how you follow clues, talk with people and trail Nerissa/Faith, until the final confrontation where you get the truth.
Somehow I feel that if they explain it all in a DLC then things will be rushed... Season 2? Please
I have two ideas for DLCs.
The first is about The Farm. In this DLC, we play either as Toad Jr. trying to survive or Snow doing an investigation after some Fables disappeared from there.
The second is about the Homelands. In this DLC, we play scenarios like in 400 days about Bigby, Snow, Beauty/Beast, Toad, and Jack in their earlier days.
Jack's earlier days are pretty much covered in the Jack of Fables spin-off series
Snow's backstories would be very... adult for a game
Toad's wouldn't be 'interesting' I guess
I would like to see Ichabod Crane when he was investigating the Headless Horseman case
Also Boy Blue when he was still a warrior.
Not necessarily. I know its pretty dark but it is a mature rated game
Well they can't show her time spent with the 7 Dwarves because.... well they raped and abused her for 6 years is why!!!
Her time as a child with Rose was kinda boring to read.
We COULD explore how she killed the 7 Dwarves after she married Charming though; that would be cool to see
It is a mature rated game Hazza, so they can include the whole rape storyline. Obviously it won't be as gruesome/show anything that they shouldn't show, but including that + leading up to her getting revenge wouldn't be a bad idea.
But wouldn't it just be better for TellTale to cover stuff that the comics didn't?
Most of Snow's backstory was covered, the only 'unsure' part of it is the 7 Dwarves murder
Oh yeah for sure, it would be much better for them to dive into stuff never seen before. But on the topic of Snow's backstory, the 7 dwarves wouldn't be a bad idea.
I agree.... just not the rapey parts of the story :P
That's an essential part though
They can skim over those parts in brief flashbacks and narration!
Just show Snow hunting them down and killing them XD
But that would make no sense for people who haven't read the comics. I get rape is a sensitive topic but if they wanted to make her backstory into a DLC they'd have to add that part in for the full effect
I stand by what I said....
I think a cool Dlc would be playing as Bigby and snow during the homelands. Include Snow's back story, make people hate the drawfs, do whatever with the rape scene, like Shubba said its a Mature game, Im sure it wouldnt be over the top graphic but we would you know, "get the picture".
Also, playing as Bigby for a whole ep in Wolf form would be cool. What would be really cool is that after Snow escapes, maybe Bigby runs into the drawfs and kills some of them, because In the comics I think you can only see Snow killing one, so maybe Snow comes back and sees that they are all dead but maybe 1 or 2
Snow kills all 7 of the ones who trapped her...
BUT the Dwarves were mobilizing an army to attack the human Fables because of the murders, so Bigby encountering them is a possibility
I've been always wondering what was the backstory of the Dwarves because of the comment Bigby made when he saw Snow surrounded by them in the book... Now I wish I'd never found out.
Yep, they raped and abused Snow for 6 years, then she killed them all...
At least Bigby's gentle with her XP
Either having multiple characters as mentioned before, or a part of the previous script.
Multiple main characters would have us playing as Bigby, Snow, Jack, Cindy, Charming, Beauty, and Nerissa/Faith.
The part of the previous script would be about Cindy's step-sister.
All I want is a Bigby full wolf chase scene though New York
Not full wolf but that did practically happen though...
yea but i think full wolf was poorly used in episode 5 but instead of hoping on buildings and jumping on cars him in full wolf will be pushing cars out of the way maybe even picking up cars and crushing them in his jaws and really show us his power than swatting heaps of Bloody Mary reflection like flies
You have to remember though that in Volume 1 of Fables, Bigby tells everyone that "The amount of times I've had to chase a suspect can be counted on one hand"
He chased Tweedle Dee and Georgie/Vivian in TWAU; that leaves only 3 possible chases left...
In Snow's backstory in "1001 Nights of Snowfall", it does show Snow killing all 7 dwarves. She kills them one- by-one starting from when she marries Charming, and after she starts learning the sword from Charming, she becomes better (progressively) at killing the dwarves.
This is evidenced by the fact that when Charming and his subjects investigated the dwarves' corpses, the first couple were hacked to pieces (by Charming's words, they were clumsy and brutal), but as Snow's skills progressed, last couple of dwarves were killed with just one single thrust. Charming says killer seemed inexperienced at first, but perfecting his deadly art all along.
I for one have always supported playing as Bigby in his Big Bad Wolf form. It would be cool to fight against all sorts of monsters (he kills at least one dragon in his backstory). Though I guess the whole DLC would need to start from beginning of "The Runt" storyline if they wanted to make Bigby look even a bit sympathetic (since he does eat a lot of human and animal Fables during his time in homelands, becoming their terror), otherwise people will get confused (esp. those who haven't read 1001 Nights of Snowfall), suddenly seeing the hero in the villain role.
The DLC of Bigby should be either a War Stories thing like Shubba suggested.
OR they show Bigby fighting the Emperor!! I would love to see TellTale animate that fight XD
The War Stories (i.e. World War 2 period) indeed does sound interesting (and I would be quite open to it).
Only problem is, there is almost 0% chance of encountering other Fables in WWII DLC (I say almost, because in the comics, there are hints that Cindy trained as spy under Bigby during this time), and that might not bode well with some players.
Also I'm not sure how showing Bigby fighting the Emperor in a DLC can be a good thing, considering Bigby..............lost to him (I say this even though it greatly pains me to say it), and the size difference between them is just so great, it's almost an unfair fight (Bigby is huge, but Emperor's size was just so crazy, that his scale is out of this world).
The Emperor fight was an embarrassment for the Big Bad Wolf... but human Bigby got the best of him :P
Also the War Stories could just be Bigby hunting Nazi Officers in the city or ambushing convoys as a Wolf
Still 3 chases and he may have meant he has been In few chases not a certion number
5 chases maximum. 2 in TWAU, 3 possible ones left.
The baddies from season 1: Georgie, Bloody Mary, Jersey, Tweedle(s) How cool would THAT be to play as the villians and get THEIR side to the whole ordeal with the CM? That would be a pretty neat DLC.
