FOTA has threatened to setup a rival championship for 2010 onwards after negotiations fail with the FIA. What's your views on the current state of F1?

Will you be supporting a FOTA operated championship featuring the teams, drivers and sponsors of Ferrari, McLaren, Renault, BMW Sauber, Toyota, Brawn GP, Red Bull and Toro Rosso?

F1 will be better for everybody without mosley. Lets hope this isnt another one of his stunts like we saw in 2003 (02 maybe)

Allthough it aint gonna happen, anyone else like the look of FOTA's proposed calendar? Would love to see the teams racing round Jerez, Imola and Buenos Aires once again :D

getting sick of these characterless tracks that make their way onto the F1 calendar these days.

I'm sick of the lack of overtaking, but I don't think it'll be fixed for a while.

I don't mind most of the new tracks, but they do lack character. That half of them are in the middle of the desert doesn't help.

true, bahrain just feels bland and doesnt invite overtaking. Even valencia, despite looking stunning just feels poorly designed-Too many chicanes followed by 90degree turns which make it impossible to overtake. Singapore feels the same but to a lesser extent. Maybe they should ditch Tilke as he seems to have run out of ideas since Turkey. Tracks like Silverstone, Spa, Jerez etc provided exciting racing because they have a good variation of different speed corners which some the new tracks seem to lack.

Looks like a breakaway isnt happening any more, but if it did, maybe not such a bad thing for the viewers point of view. No doubt we'll see more exciting racing revisiting some old tracks

Legally they can't for a few years. What's the betting they will if another Mosleyesque figure takes charge of the FIA when he steps down?

15-0 to the boys in red :)

Yeah, it's good to see they came to an agreement however it appears that FOTA still have the upper hand going forward, which considering they want more fan input is certainly good news for the future. Also on the FIA presidency front, there are suggestions that Ari Vatanen is poised to get the position. Time will tell.
