Sam and Max Crashing

Everytime the begining credits end and the game is going to begin my computer restarts. I just formated my hard drive, installed new drivers and downloaded DirectX and its still happening. i have tried this with Abe Lincoln Must Die and Reality 2.0. They have played in the past.

My system is:

Windows XP
Amd Athlon XP 3200
2.21 GHz 1.00 GB RAM
Ati Radeon 9800
500 Gig Hard Drive
Asus Nvidia nForce 2 Series Motherboard,Chipset Rev.68.02

    Even formatting didn't work? Hrm. Do you know which drivers you are using?

    Do you have this issue with other games too? A friend of mine had a similar issue and I believe it had something to do with his power supply.

    That is a good question, do you have problems with any other games or is it just ours?

    No I was able to play Bone with no problem.
