I don't think if you hate the game you are a moron, I will call you out and provide reasons as to why its not a bad game though.
Dude, I've played this game. I'm 14. I have a very long attention span. I don't play CoD. I really don't find the game to be good. I didn't like Ellie. I didn't really like Tess. I hated Joel. I hated everyone.

For such an average FPS in my opinion, the amount of perfects it got is a pretty good representation of the low standards plaguing the current video game industry.
I don't know how you find exploring unrewarding, especially when exploring unlocks you new ways of taking out your target and just new side missions overall, and this game is mainly about avoiding contact but the games that you gave as examples aren't about that, they are very different games where stealth is rare, (arkham has some stealth levels but isn't fully stealth based) also this game isn't forcing you to avoid conflict, there are skills that encourage running into battle and cutting everyones heads off. Personally I played through the game full stealth nonlethal, which is a bigger challenge than lethal stealth and you waste way more time reloading the game and saving every 5 seconds but I enjoyed every moment of it.
I don't think it's the most overrated game ever but for myself one of my biggest disappointments today
I bought it after seeing all the r… moreeviews being so high and I just find the game so boring, the gameplay is meh pretty average this game is more about avoiding any conflict then facing it which bores me even though I usually love them sort of games like AC, Arkham, Tomb Raider etc but that had better gameplay for stealth imo and each section I find boring to explore not as rewarding or interesting as some games like tlou/bioshock infinite/Arkham etc
Saying all this not saying it's a bad game I was just so hyped for it and playing it I just feel personally really bored and uninterested the story started solid and the gameplay did but after a few levels it grew stale for me

I agree. However, I do love Final Fantasy 1, FF: Tactics, and FFX-2. But every other Game in the Final Fantasy franchise is Like The Land Before Time franchise. Sure the First 2 movies were great, But their 14 sequels and 3 Spin offs? Not so much.

Hell, I dislike The game, and I'd still rather Play Silent Hill or Pokemon Red, Than any of those Bullshit Games in the Call of Duty franchise. and I don't know if you've Noticed, But Silent Hill's story is a Lot deeper and More Unpredictable than TLOU, It's not a Bad story, Just Cliche and Predictable.

After Sunshine there's Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door, Super Paper Mario, and Super Mario Galaxy, which I think are all quality games. Have you played Sunshine? I hear it's amazing, but I haven't been able to play it yet.

Eh if anything the forums is where it's gets the most hate, it gets trashed on almost as much as Walking Dead S2. The only Telltale game (and I'm not trying to retaliate or anything) that I personally think is overrated on these forums is Tales.

Halo 5 had a fantastic story. The ending was almost enough to make me buy an Xbox one for the next installment.... almost. I can't wait for the story to continue though. So far 343 has my attention. The MP was fucking atrocious.

Bioshock Infinite: Couldn't keep me engaged through the whole game, something just felt off about it.
Dark Souls series: Pretty boring imo, just beeing hard isen't a big plus in my book, also didn't like the design and the pc version was a mess.

Ghosts shouldn't be there, It was super underrated. But that's only because it sucked.
