I love this series so much more than the walking dead comic. I hear the movie or on screen adaptation are in the works.

If your wondering what all the fuss is about this Kirkman comic now is your chance to get a taste. I recommend reading from the start though. There is a huge plot twist that has recently happened that the current issue 118 may spoil.

Its basically a story about a nerfed superman(contrary to how overpowered superman is) where the superheros have limits to their powers and can die and stay dead not magically coming back out of no where. Lots of gore to.

  • Thanks for the informations!

  • Funny I too am reading a comic published by image about parenthood, it's called Saga and it's amazing :P

Seems interesting but I'd never start from so late in the story, I always pick up from the beginning, besides if I'm honest I didn't care for TWD comic or TV show at all so I don't know if I'd like something written by Kirkman, I guess I might give it a chance if the earlier issues are on discount or something.

  • It's WAY better than TWD, at least it has been ever since the Invincible War story arc and motherfucking Conquest.

A thousand times more interesting and the characters are just so much more original. Plus, the genre allows for more storytelling variety in comparison to zombies, which is rather limiting as TWD comic is showing at the moment. It's weird, but after 118 issues now, I feel Invincible keeps surpassing itself and has not hit its peak yet.

I suggest you give the series a shot and buy the digital edition of Volume 1 of the Image website, but the problem there is the story doesn't get really good until Volume 3, so I suggest you read up to there of you're interested!

And Saga is amazing too, I completely agree.
