edited July 2009 in Game Support
I just DLd all the strong bad games. I have dld and played the demos before. But now after I install them when i try to launch the game it pops up with an error message saying
Runtime Error
Program:c:\program files\telltale ga...
R6034
An application has made an attempt to load the C runtime library inncorrectly.
Please contact the application's support team for more information.

then it freezes and dies....
I searched for this in the support forum but found no solution.

If you email support@telltalegames.com you may get a quicker response than on the forums - I'm sure someone will get back to you Monday morning.

    Hey Kanbei,
is this happening when you double-click the icon or after you hit "Play game" in the launcher.

Whether I click on the shortcut or open it from the file directly it does the same thing. it actually only shows the message sometimes usually a grey box appears then freezes and is labled al "not responding"

Ok, so it sounds like it could be a launcher issue. Let's start by trying to turn everything else off first:
To Boot Clean in Windows XP

    1. Click Start --> Run --> Type MSCONFIG --> Click OK
    2. On the General tab, choose Selective Startup
    3. Uncheck Process SYSTEM.INI file
    4. Uncheck Process WIN.INI file
    5. Uncheck Load Startup Items
    6. Click on the Services tab
    7. At the bottom, check Hide All Microsoft Services
    8. Uncheck all boxes in the window or click the button labeled Disable All
    6. Click OK
    7. Click Restart
    8. After reboot, run game to see if it works.

After performing the necessary steps, restore your system by doing the following:

    1. Click Start --> Run --> Type MSCONFIG--> Click OK
    2. On the General tab, choose Normal Startup
    3. Click OK
    4. Click YES, when asked to restart your computer
