Games:
Movies:
Silent Hill 2
The Cat Lady (PC)
Forbidden Siren (PS2) was frustrating, had awful, unwieldy gameplay but was original. And scary.
Condemned: Criminal Origins (Xbox 360) - brutal, blunt, obscene, one of the best/worst shock moments ever, good plot, okay gameplay.
Fun fact: the guy who wrote Outlast, J.T. Petty, had a co-writing credit on Amid the Ruins from The Walking Dead Season 2.
I'm a big movie person....
Nightmare on Elm Street
Friday the 13th
Freddy vs Jason
Texas Chainsaw Massacre
Halloween
Paranormal Activity (Meh....I've seen the first 2 and they're not that much...)
Blair Witch 2 (Pretty under rated, I enjoyed it)
And I guess I shouldn't go on....
Nice list I guess, I'm just not that into splatter. I agree with you on these two:
Halloween - one of the rare horror movies that aged really really well. And you gotta love that soundtrack.
Paranormal Activity - had it's flaws, but brought a breeze of fresh air to the horror film scene. Second and third were dull though.
Horror Movie:
Horor Game:
Back in the day A nightmare of elm st. 4 scared the shit out of me. The recent Evil Dead was hilarious to me.
Jaws 1-4.
The Wolfman.
Other than those films, I do not like horror films.
I dont watch many horror films. The last one I saw was evil dead and I thought that was pretty lame. But for games resident evil 4 and left 4 dead.
Insideous (How original of me).
Games:
This game is extremely expensive. Nice find if you have it.
Is it really? I got it a few years ago, so I don't recall the price. I do know that it's banned in a few countries though.
Oh, that's why Epsiode 4 was so ominous.
Games:
+1 on the second Blair Witch. Not better than the first one, but it was solid and had a great soundtrack.
The first Friday the 13th actually freaked me out when I was a kid. Didn't expect the mongloid boy to jump out of the lake!
First Saw film was great.
I can watch the first two Alien movies just about anytime, anywhere.
Yeah....Unfortunately it gets a lot of hate from others
Robocop? Rambo? Fallout? You know these aren't really supposed to scare you, right?
I'm sorry but how on Earth is Five Nights at Freddy's scary? It's just a bunch of the most predictable jumpscares ever, with absolutely no suspense whatsoever You are of course entitled to your opinion but I'm sorry I just don't understand.
Movies-
The Shining
Alien
Aliens
Shaun of the Dead
Cabin in the Woods
Evil Dead Trilogy
Zombieland
Games-
Outlast
Alien: Isolation
Bioshock
Meh, I'll agree to disagree.
Maybe because it kind of builds up something that when they jumpscare you, you knew it's gonna happen but you still get scared.
Nice list.
Story of Outlast was so original.
I bought it for over two hundred or so, i think a few years back. Its a hard hard, game to find. Keep it as pristine as possible. Right now its going for about 160 US dollars on ebay. Its a rare game to have in a collection. That is with the original Case/book in pristine condition.
lol, they don't scare me, but they're still my favorite "horror." games, even though lethal weapon doesn't count as a horror, i kind of see it as one man's horrific road through depression, so i added it to the list.
Hey Reg, this is a special forces Tattoo
