Nah, the two of them were (and are) destined to be together (and also, it's canon to the comics, so....)
They are friends, no matter what else.
TWAU game is canon to the Fables comics, so for that particular timeline they have to remain friends/colleagues...
Besides, their romance is too beautiful in Fables! XD
