Gone Home. I really wanted to like it, but after beating it, I really couldn't say a lot of positive things about it. I don't even care abou… moret how it's "not a game" or a "walking simulator". Heck, I've played better walking simulators like the Vanishing of Ethan Carter.
You mean the ones they keep in Japan, where they throw more and more shovelware our way every day. They make substandard hardware, that can't compete with the Xbox1/PS4
Project X Zone. I wanted to like it so much, but man the game got old fast. The story and gameplay was a wreck but the beautiful sprite work and soundtrack were fantastic. Its a shame the most crucial things a game needs sucked major hard.
What beloved Franchises?

I don't care, EA at least publishes the games in America/Japan for everyone to enjoy. Nintendo can take its hand held ass back to the 80s and die in a nursing home for all i care.
Regarding the graphics, I think they downgraded them from because the game was crossgen, and maybe the PS4 and Xbox One weren't as powerful … moreas Ubisoft had expected. AC Unity was next gen only, and I don't think they downgraded the graphics from the E3 demo.
Still, I thought Watch Dogs looked quite nice at night and/or when it was raining.
The story... was pretty underwhelming. Aiden Pierce is a major douchebag, and every other character was pretty forgettable
That game imo was doomed from the start, when you have a 13 year development spanning two companies... It was headed for disaster. Same reason why Half Life 3 will never be made.
I'm a huge Sims fan, bought the original with a few expansions, and the next two games with nearly all the expansions. Didn't even touch Sims 4. Soooo disappointed.
I recently got a game without doing much research, purely based on all the rave reviews about it. When I played it, it felt like an early last gen game with clunky controls, muddy and poor graphics, awkward character movement and fighting, ect. It just wasn't the game for me. Thankfully, my brother was looking to get that game so I passed it on to him instead. I'm purposely not naming the game because everyone seems to love it, lol.

When I was a kid my dad banned me from playing Sims because I kept setting fire to things with those rockets. LOL
I didn't play the Sims for a long time after that. I bought Sims 2 a few years ago and loved how you could create your own towns. Then I got Sims 3. It's a solid game, but it does feel a bit empty at times. I didn't bother with Sims 4 either. Probably won't buy jack shit from EA ever again.

Not "bad", but it's the least enjoyable out of all four. It just didn't age as well as its successor did.
Aside from that, there's a lot of comments about how the Saints Rows series was a carbon copy of Grand Theft Auto. Naturally, I'd agree. The third game was a mixture of humor and seriousness, but at the very least, it gave us the fourth game which is pretty damn good in my opinion. It also caused it to branch away from being identical to Grand Theft Auto. While the sequel was great, I couldn't get into the first game no matter how much I tried.
. . Which was a lot, by the way. I was actually curious to know why we were in a coma. I still never figured it out. Oh well.
Amnesia 2, Sonic Unleashed, Resident Evil 5, Omega Ruby/Alpha Sapphire, and Skyward Sword. I've had too many Comments telling me to go "Kill Myself" for my opinion of those games (Skyward Sword and ORAS) lately, I know the Internet is a bad place for Opinions, But damn.
This is what happens when you rush your game, so it can be released just in time for the holidays.
Though, I think Sonic Genesis for the GBA is even worse. They turned the first Sonic game, a classic, into a POS.
idk i loved the 1st one. second one was just as cool. look nothing against he 3rd one but it was freaking over the top to me. i didnt even bother with the 4th one cuz of the story line it brought. and i thought the 3rd was really fun as hell, but i guess i just love the gangster aspect of the first 2

The protagonist was in a coma after Julius was taken into custody by the police. Troy was actually an undercover cop and he struck a deal with Julius; end the Saints so that Troy won't have to arrest them. He does this by planting a bomb on a politicians yatch (no idea why we were with him though) which kills the politician and puts you in a coma. The Saints fall apart and new gangs take over Stilwater.

I agree so much, what a let down. I enjoy when a game can keep it's context and premise simple while giving you glimpses of a much bigger development outside of what your character experiences. Them spelling out every plot point and prying in tons of expository dumps constantly un-hyped me and outside of some ingenious level designs, the game was a bore.
Mr. Yahtzee basically sums up all my points down to a tee in his review.
Hotline Miami 2: Wrong Number. Most of the characters were uninteresting, the level design was pretty bad in a lot of places, and the story … moreand ending were the dumbest they could have been. None of the characters accomplish anything at all, and the ending makes the entire game utterly pointless. I was expecting much better. The only thing they did well was the soundtrack, but that can't save the game.
With the way people talk about it, I thought it would be the holy grail of gaming, but instead I got a game with a boring story, horrible characters, and boring gameplay.

GTA V disappointed me too. The main thing that annoys me is that if you jump too high with a motorcycle you always fall off when you land, assuming you don't die. That along was enough to send me back to GTA IV. Other than that, I really didn't find the story to be all that great. It was decent, but I think Niko's story in IV was far more interesting.
The multiplayer is also missing what I considered a key feature hat IV had, and that's modifying the rules of a lobby when you create one. In IV I could select which weapons could be used, and I could turn off friendly fire, and cops, etc. Turning off friendly fire allowed for some extremely entertaining things to be done, like shooting each other with rpgs and doing cartwheels through the air. Having cops off was far more enjoyable because you could focus on fighting players in free mode, or doing ramps, or whatever you wanted, without the obnoxious cops following you and trying to kill you because they crashed into your car like a dumb-ass. Also, I find that a minimum of 50% of the time I'm on GTA Online there are hackers.
The radio stations in V are also terrible, with the exception of Chakra Attack.
I did enjoy the new levels of character and vehicle customization, and having rural and mountainous regions is fun. Those things just aren't enough for me to consider it the best in the series though.

Holy crap, you're a moderator now! Cool.
are you saying that the 1st one is bad???
Oh god.. Oh god... being an alien fan i'm ashamed to even look at that game...
Wut a gud gaem. It's the best game ever.
all that emotion went into borderlands 2 lololololol
Seriously, I've heard that the scumbags used the money Sega gave them for Aliens, to make Borderlands 1 and 2.
Yep, just the other day.
I played a bit of it, and saw reviews, and I must say, I agree. And anyway, it was too short apparently.
Nice joke.

Some EA games are very enjoyable... please don't hurt me angry mob!
I like it, although it could use some tiny little features like... Toddlers, open world, vehicles, colour wheel and create-a-style.
Project X Zone. I wanted to like it so much, but man the game got old fast. The story and gameplay was a wreck but the beautiful sprite work and soundtrack were fantastic. Its a shame the most crucial things a game needs sucked major hard.
Did you see what EA did to Mass Effect, KOTOR, Fifa, Battlefield and the list keeps going
Wait... ... did they only create one face model for black people?
Not only that, but their faces look like flat textures. At least the other disfigured characters have actual faces.

Why would they downgrade the PC version. The PC version was terrible.

Its too late.
I was gonna get this game after seeing the trailer, but my brother stopped me with the exact same reasons you said. I'm glad he did.
sigh...

You can tell us c:
(I'm guessing so hard in my mind right now)
Dead Island. Great first trailer, but the game didn't live up to the hype. To me at least.
I hope nobody crucifys me.....Bloodbourne. I will admit that I didn't stick around for long, though. I guess I was expecting something different.
When I was a kid my dad banned me from playing Sims because I kept setting fire to things with those rockets. LOL

I agree, the trailer was so promising then it wasn't even on the same level as the trailer (story wise).

Oh, I agree with you on Bloodbourne, It was... Really disapointing.

Can I ask why ORAS is in your list??
(I don't have the game, and i'm planning on buying it soo..)
