Admittedly, not into a lot of long drawn metal songs that take nearly ten minutes to finish. Someone like me who discovered shit like grindcore and hardcore punk far before he was supposed to got me into 40 second to 60 second tracks far before stuff like Deafheaven's lengthy more experimental run times. So, to this day, I'm still outside my comfort zone just a bit when I discover a band like this.
But the song adjusts itself throughout the run time to help aid some of the stagnation a lot of prog-metal bands have on me. For sure a beautifully heavy song and a band that already has gained a lot of clout in the metal scene as a very interesting force... Metal is for sure not dead.
Pig Destroyer have some of the most lyrically intense content I've listened to in a grindcore band. While Napalm Death and Magrudergrind are screaming about political instability and economic hardships, Pig Destroyer are shredding their vocals about the misanthropic psychosis of a whorish teen and a woman licking another girls' eye sockets.
He has the same kind of warbling sing-song flow that ODB sometimes used, plus some of the mannerisms. He doesn't sound like ODB, but his style kinda reminds me of him.

I'm not much of a rap or hip hop listener. But this song really moves me.

This song reminds me of Tales From The Borderlands when Rhys was disguised as Vasquez in EP4. It was fun being a jerk to everyone.
Haha, yeah, it should've been played when they had the air-gun shootout.
Possibly one of the most disturbing intros into an album I've ever heard.

Yeah. I like listening to pop music once in awhile. This is my favorite Britney Spears song from when I was younger.

ODB? chance is tight but i don't hear any ODB in him.
