Questions about Zuko attacking Aang on the beach, and Katara's reaction to it.
I love this show to death, but this is one thing that's bugged me to no end.
Anyone else find it incredibly stupid that Zuko would relentlessly attack Aang just for fucking around on the beach and not taking his training seriously? Not because of the case of causing possible harm to him, but because Katara threatened to actually kill Zuko if he gave her any reason that he might do so? Did that seriously not cross his mind?
I mean, he saw what she's capable of with her waterbending. She can be deadly. She nearly turned a guy's insides into liquid shit with her bloodbending. And when you think about how Zuko fooled Katara into thinking there was good in him just to stab her in the back at the last minute, you'd think she would take her threat very seriously, considering her hatred for the Fire Nation. Yet all she does is say, "Zuko, what the hell? You could've hurt Aang."
He should be very lucky that Katara suddenly forgot about making Zuko shit himself when he joined the group.

I dunno, I definitely think that they all knew Zuko wouldn't kill Aang, I'm also pretty sure after the bond Zuko and Katara formed Katara wouldn't kill him, maybe just stop him. Either that or they just used that to spark the conversation of Ozai taking down the earth kingdom when Sozins comet arrives, IMO it doesn't matter that much anyway, it was such a small part
Zuko is hot headed and doesn't normally think things through, to be honest it felt like pretty much exactly what Zuko would do in that situation, so no it didn't bother me at all, made sense.
Also by that point he had already legitimately earned Katara's trust so it's not like that threat was still standing, it was pretty clear that he was one of them now, besides did you see what they were doing?
Considering that certain doom was coming and they were just chilling it seems perfectly OK to be that frustrated.
