DOTT for iPhone

edited July 2009 in General Chat
I would love to see Day of the Tentacle (or any TT adventure games, for that matter) for my un-jailbroken iphone. What are the chances?

The chances are high IF you are willing to wait a long time. See, Ron Gilbert would love Monkey Island on iPhone according to a blog post. So, if Lucasarts decides to do that, then we have Monkey Island on the iPhone. Then if it's successful, we might see a DOTT port!

Now that LucasArts is actually doing things with their old games, this might actually happen.

I'd suggest that someone go about porting ScummVM to the iPhone except that there was the news the other week that the Commodore 64 Emulator got rejected from the app store :)

ScummVM for iPhone exists, and works, but is of course not available on the app store.

Lucasarts have said they may be announcing a new platform for SMI:SE on a new platform verr, very soon.

My money is on the iPhone.

Could be the DS of course.

Until then, Revolution have nearly finished their official iPhone port of Beneath a Steel Sky.
