Sam and Max voices

I'm trying out episode 4, but the voices are non-existant. The background music is there, but everyone is mute. I'm using a Vista 32-bit. Is there a way to fix this?

    Have you checked the options? Voices have a seperate volume control in Sam & Max.

    the voices are on the highest volume, but they still don't work.

    Try redownloading it, just in case something happened in the in the download/install process. Failing that, try updating your DirectX and may be your soundcard drivers. If you need help with any of that, let me know.

    Hmm, ok. Could you post your dxdiag information? You can get it by going to Start -> Run -> type in dxdiag.

    It says "no problems found" on each page.

    Sorry I should have been more clear. In the dxdiag window, there should be button in the bottom right that says "save this data" or something along those lines. Could you save that out to a text file on your desktop or something and then attach it to this thread?
