Sam & Max 360 Descriptions - A bit spoilery?

edited July 2009 in Sam & Max
I think the descriptions of the episodes in Sam and Max Save The World for the 360 are a bit spoilery. I already played the games, so I knew what was coming, but for all those who didn't, they had some of the best parts spoiled for them.
"Witness Max's death scene?" Best part of episode 3, spoiled.
"Watch the secret service break out into song" War song spoiled.
something is said about going to the Prismatology base in Episode 6, so anyone who looks at that and knows who is in charge of Prismatology has had that spoiled.

I just hope you don't do that with Through Time & Space. :(

Thanks for listening.

I wouldn't think it was Telltale's fault - they've been really good at being discrete with this sort of thing in the past. Probably some Microsoft executive who played the games but didn't realise how important it was that these things be kept under wraps.

But yeah, Telltale guys, try to have a word with whoever's responsible for this about keeping Season Two unspoiled. The whole point in Chariots of the Dogs is that it's a massive shock when it happens, and preserving the surprise makes playing it for the first time so much better. And if the main villains being
    The Soda Poppers
gets leaked I'll be really upset.

Mind you, I made my friend download the free 104 to see what he'd think, and I made certain I wouldn't mention the
    War Song
so he'd be surprised and find it funny. When I asked him about it later he said "I thought it was unfunny and completely unnecessary."

Oh, sorry, I forgot to specify I'm talking about in the game, no the marketplace description. It's where you launch each of the episodes.

And they've been pretty terrible about it in the ads for the seasons on the Wii as well.

    Yeah...
The war song and casino explosion were in there too. OH. How can I forget the part in the Blister where Max says "Let's go save to world." That's quite a spoiler.

Have to say I agree with all of the above comments. I found some of the descriptions slightly spoilerific, as well. Towards the end of the season (eps 4, 5, 6) I stopped reading them.

If there is anything that needs to be worked on in Season 2, that's the only thing that really springs to mind. That, and perhaps the cursor interface needs to be slightly less resistant.
