An idea for a character?
A former noble knight who loves and cares for his village as well as the people in it has interest in fighting for it but due to an injury he sustained in training by a friend is refused. He looks after the people in his village and protects them while leading a few other men. The war ends with the men from his village victorious. The knights who fought in the war are heavily paid and earn fame and respect through out every where. The best women from all around the kingdom marry the knights in the war. The main characters wound gets worse through out the coming days and is frequently bullied and beaten while being called a coward by the famed knights. He then angrily breaks down and voices his now hatred for everyone in the village. He hears of a witch named Agnita hidden out in the woods who could give him "Limitless Potential Power" he rides out to find her. After 3 years of searching he finally finds her hut, he asks the witch to grant him power in exchange for money for her farm and live stock. She agrees but then warns him that the spell requires a transformation that rids him of physical strength and his human body as well as his sanity or reason. He also needs to drain blood from a human regularly to prevent dehydration (as he cannot eat or drink). She casts the spell and he becomes a wrinkly skinny, bald man without any ears. She in turn dies from having exhausted her energy as he becomes a more powerful sorcerer than even her and vows revenge on all the kingdom
