I'm loving the lack of nudity so far. But then, I'm a major prude. Even Nerissa's brief scene in TWAU shocked me good first time. :v It's not necessary, and I hope Telltale doesn't just throw in gratuitous nudity for the halibut.

Nudity with these graphics? Seriously? I am not sure it's going to look as it supposed to be. And what kind of gameplay it can offer to the … moreplayer? Press "Q" to fuck is stupid, and the Forresters are not in the situation to have sex with anybody for now.
Honestly the only scenes where it would make sense to me would be in an Asher brothel scene, or in a Rodrik-Elaena bedding scene. And maaaaaybe if Mira visited Littlefinger's brothel.

Including nudity, so far, would feel like they're including it just for it to be included. It would just seem out of place with the storylines so far. We've had no reason to see nudity.
It's not worth freaking out over, it's just weird. The game is based off the show, which has tons of gratuitous nudity. So one would think t… morehe game would be similar. It's even more confusing since they had nudity in TWAU, while the comics had none (that I can remember, anyway).
I'm not upset, I'm just interested in why. Telltale always claims that they try to appeal to the franchise's fans first, so it seems odd that they would exclude a major part of what the show is known for. It would be like excluding smoking from TWAU.
Now picture that on top of another person except that they have white spheres all over to make a wire-frame animation of their movements, and yes it must have been done that way I described to prevent clipping from happening.
I can't think of any scenes so far where nudity would have fit. Though a horde of naked assassins attacking naked Beshka and naked Asher would have been a sight to see!
Well. I wasn't aware people were unhappy that Badly animated Boobs (No offense telltale) aren't in a serious Story about war. But, I guess we'll add it to the complaint box...
Actually the best possibility to see nudity in this game (not that it's really needed) is Asher and Beshka ending up in a brothel in Meereen for one reason or another.

Thats right, the books are sex heavy, you just have vivid descriptions instead of the visual. Two sex scenes, i thought, one with Tyrion and Shae and another with Jaime and Cercei were particularly overly graphic and disturbing. The books are more graphic in some ways, like someone constantly getting threatened with rape or actually raped and theres not as much of that in the show. So yeah, people accusing the show of doing what the books dont, not so much.
The sexual note is heavily present in the books as well. Wagging boobs and so on, and other stuff like... I don't want to imagine GRRM's face when he wrote certain things.
Well, the thing is, I think this game is trying to be more serious to the central story of family troubles and betrayal, and probably doesn't want to distract players with all that nudity found in the show. Also, from what I've read, there isn't really that much nudity in the books compared to the show, pretty much a decision to just get more people to watch I guess.
Telltale/GRRM don't have HBO's policy of a mandatory nudity quota. IIRC one GOT director even mentioned how he was asked to include full frontal to "please the perverts" or something along those lines.
The books still have quite a bit, GRRM loves describing nipples in great detail for some reason... Most of it is just nauseating, Tyrion's penis most of all... "Even his manhood was ugly, thick and veined, with a bulbous purple head"!

Haha, right. Or this one:
"The painted leather burst into sudden flame as she skipped closer to the fire, her breasts bare to the blaze, streams of milk flowing from her red and swollen nipples."
Considering passages like this the show handles it in a quite aesthetic manner, though I can't help but roll my eyes at most of it.

Sure, but they easily could have included a storyline where nudity made sense. Brothels are everywhere in Westeros. It's not like Telltale doesn't have control over the storylines.

The game is based on the show, so I don't see why Telltale would care about how much nudity is in the books.
If not that, then maybe they also want to avoid any potential uncanny valley effects since they aren't using as heavily of a stylized presentation as Wolf Among Us did.
I hadn't even considered a technical explanation. Thanks Blind! That makes way more sense to me than any creative explanations people have put forward in this thread.
I neither read the books nor watch the show, but from what I've heard in other discussions, it seems that the nudity is only something the s… morehow added that is not as heavily present in the books. As others have said, I'm guessing that Telltale is holding off on it unless it is necessary to the plot.

I've only read the first Fables trade paperback, but there was definitely nudity in it (at least, partial female frontal nudity, as we saw in The Wolf Among Us).
Anyway, there are seven episodes of Telltale's Game of Thrones. It's a little early to be talking about the season containing no nudity, considering we're not even past the halfway point of the season yet.

Our classifiction board is really sensitive over sexual content. They decided Saints Row 4's anal probe weapon was too extreme for an adults-only rating. They seem to be harder on games, because some of the stuff in Game of Thrones would get a game banned here.
Oh, and I should mention that TWOU was rated R18+ here.

Telltale never did game where was nudity. Wolf among us had one scene that lasted barely 2 minutes. If you need nudity in the game then you are a pervert, and you if you are pervert then you should go insted of playing the games watch porn or hentai or whaterever.
He owns many of them in the books and even in the show he says in the first season that he owns "several of this kind of establishments" as he takes Ned to one of them to see Catelyn.

Is this for real? People are demanding nudity for the game? Don't they realize that is easily the most annoying aspect of the show? I mean come on! Am I the only one that just wants to fast forward those scenes? I mean seriously, that one scene in season 1 with Littlefingers goes on for FAR TO LONG! You could cut those scenes entirely, and as a direct result extend a battle scene, or a extremely interesting political talk scene, but no, pointless nudity because hey were HBO! So annoying, and I read the books, it's there, but it's both not as prevalent, and you can just read over it or just plain skip it. For the record, if anything GRRM has a food fetish, I have never seen such overt descriptions of food. I for one am happy Telltale has so far, skipped it, and even if they do it eventually, it will never be on the scale of the show, and I for one am happy about that. Besides, unless your CD-Project-Red, nudity and sex scenes in gaming generally aren't particularly well done, and this IS Telltale here, they are not known for large budgets. Also for the record, I am male, straight, and have a girlfriend, and I still hate it, just putting that on the side.

Havent you ever heard of sexposition? Theyre not just standing their flashing their boobs. Theyre conveying important information that cant be replaced by battle scenes. I think people make a bigger deal out of the nudity than it deserves.

I am aware of it, and I am probably in the minority saying this, but exposition can still be interesting without nudity, in fact I am sure that a lot of people don't even listen to the exposition, they just look at the nudity. So I am not a fan of it, I get its there so that people don't get bored, but I feel it doesn't help.

In what context would we see it? You want it thrown in just because its in the show?

Maybe Asher will turn up in one of Littlefingers brothels lol
Then we don't need to worry about it
TWAU had nudity and it didn't look horrible. Also nobody said It has to be interactive...
Honestly the only scenes where it would make sense to me would be in an Asher brothel scene, or in a Rodrik-Elaena bedding scene. And maaaaaybe if Mira visited Littlefinger's brothel.
Maybe Mira will have to get her tits out for some reason
Probably not Mira herself. It might just be in the background. Kind of like Georgie.

Meanwhile, At Telltale:
TWAU had the "classic" Telltale graphics, not the watercolor one like Game of Thrones

Don't forget Sam's "fat pink mast" or Lady Something's "sopping Myrish swamp". Looooovely.

or maybe when Asher "comforts" Beskha when Croft tells you to deal with her.

Doesn't Littlefinger only own 1 brothel? As in the one in King's Landing where Asher probably won't be in a position to go?

I think he's kidding.
i would like to see mira or talia
but not so extended just like for 2 or 3 minutes like in the wolf among us with nerissa
You know Talia is like 13...right?
l like how TWAU's discussion is all; "Why the nudity?" And this one is "Why no nudity"?
TWAU had anything but a "Classic" Telltale graphics. Only SBCG4AP, TWD and TWAU were cel-shaded.
