Technology is Changing Things that blow your mind

In this thread we talk about very interesting , upcoming things in the future that you think are going to be Life Changing. The first thing i would like to talk about is the EmDrive. Apparently Nasa is now developing a new type of space travel, that doesn't use conventional rockets. It is said with this new "emdrive" we can travel to the moon in hours, and to Mars in a few weeks, compared to traditional Rockets.

The craziest thing, is the guy who developed this technology, developed it ten years ago. The entire scientific community thought he was nuts, because his device violates one of Sir Issac's laws of Gravity, but apparently Nasa said it works.

Check it out.

What totally amazes me are those robotic hearts. Severals patients got implanted already, they still died but they did many months later than if they kept their real hearts. The day it will be entirely functionnal, it will save so many people.

And they won't stop there! Robotic versions of other organs and limbs will one day, I hope, be entirely normal and accessible to everyone.

I didn't know that! It's hard to keep up with science nowadays, the progress they make in such little amouts of time is incredible.

  • Arificial wombs are also being researched heavily, which will mean wonderful things for many different people.

I remember reading about the EmDrive when Chinese researchers said it was legitimate five years ago, and everyone laughed it off. That's pretty cool that it's been confirmed now by multiple scientific agencies that it actually works.

  • Indeed!

Those new technologies destined to better lives are fabulous.

  • Augmentations will be a everyday thing in a few years.
