This is a Megathread where the Telltale Community identify the Top 5 Gaming Laptops and attempt to pick which is the most deserving to sit at the #1 spot.

Some say it's Alienware 17, Others say Asus RoG G751JZ, While some say it's Razer Blade 2015.

You can also state the specs, manufacturer, laptop model and reason why you chose it. Also, you can put a limiting factor (say, for a person with a budget of below US$1500, here are your top 5)

  • The one in the middle has a rainbow of colors. ... I choose that one!

  • I've seen MSIs Afterburner software and so far it's the most effective in 3d gaming capture. with that said, maybe its reputation goes along with computer hardware.

  • This thread isn't very mega.

  • none cause laptops are shit for gaming

    end of story

  • If people want the best quality of gaming then a PC is the best option.

Not to be discouraging, but gaming laptops have limits in running games with demanding graphics we have now.

  • Is it worth investing in a gaming PC? I have always been a PlayStation commoner (and my younger brother an Xbox serf) and recently, I have been contemplating setting up a PC.

  • These laptops won't be so deserving anymore after a person eventually spills coffee on it or manages to get snack crumbs in-between the keys.

  • Gaming Laptops are like, what is the point.

  • Limited room, but still want to play games.

portability. like when you travel a lot. it's like having an ipad that you can take to any place but is more powerful to run pc games.

  • What if you want to play elsewhere than your desk?

  • I used to own a desktop.

My country is so shit that it offers limited electricity.

4 hours electricity on, 4 hours off.

So say, if I was doing something impo, my desktop will turn off when electricity power offs.

But we do have generators in my village, so we get to have electricity during the goverment power off duration.

So I sold my $550 desktop which can run GTAV 1080p60 med-high settings, and bought an integrated graphics laptop.
