    i get what you mean since there is no early access bullshit there but come on did you forget bf4 and sim city? and i'm sure there are more those two are just the first that come to mind origin isn't 100% innocent

  • That is EA, not the Origin platform, sure they are sold there but overall there's a lot less bullshit than with Steam, to be honest though it's increasingly evident that GOG is simply the better option right now, sadly due to their anti-DRM policies there are a lot of great games that you can't purchase there so I guess in the end nobody wins.

  • That's pretty much right on the money, I was just playing Arkham City and after a sidequest that ends in a cliffhanger (Basically to be continued in Arkham Knight) I thought "Damn now I have to get Arkham Knight, eh... I'll get it after there's a GOTY version and it's on sales" which is also what I did with City, I'm pretty sure there are lots of people that don't but if there are a lot of people like me that aren't willing pay 60$ for such a large and high quality title such as Arkham City this could very much be what causes them trouble later down the line, specially since one of the reasons I got the Arkham City GOTY was because it included even the retailer exclusive DLC, which BTW is a huge turn off, nothing makes me not want a game as knowing that there is some thing that I just can't get, even if it's just a stupid costume (Though I do love playing with the Cartoon costumes, I wish the whole game looked like that... Hey they are the ones that gave them the same voice cast).
