    yay database error overload!!!!
  • edited July 2009
If the servers crash does this mean there will be more monkey island games :D
  • edited July 2009
    Can't wait much longer!! :P
  • edited July 2009
    Ahoy mates! Eagerly waiting too...
  • edited July 2009
    ohhhh crumble.. !!!!
  • edited July 2009
Maybe the database is crashing because most of the available bandwidth is being used to upload the game to some much faster, much larger server?
  • edited July 2009
i just got a different database error, with a nice gray background, does this mean they are at work :O
  • edited July 2009
I feel like being mutinous.....and by mutinous i mean full of mutiny, not being all slimy and mutant like.

If their server crashes, we'll have no one to blame but ourselves with our incessant nattering

No, that's the standard database crash error. You only ever see the other one when the database crashes too much for the standard one.

Yikes! Our database is having some issues, so to prevent you from seeing the horror that lies within (within the site, that is), we've decided to show you this calming page instead. Just let the neutral grey wash over your subconscious, cleaning away the slimy plaque that is worry, and the calcium scale that is doubt.

    new member - same question:

    er...what is going on?

i'm sure i've actually paid money for this.

like ordering a steak and then watching the farmer talking to the cows.

Time is relative. At GMT-0 for instance, it's going on four'o'clock. At GMT-7, where telltale is, it's around 8am and they're not in work yet, probably blissfully unaware that we're runing their forum database server(s).

I'm like an excitable child and can't keep still ...

I can't wait to hear my lovely guybrush's voice again *ssiigghhh*

Dear makers of Monkey Island, I know you aren't associated with LucasArts, but that you have taken over their legacy of a great game.... but can we get on the remake of Loom next, It would totally allow me to revisit my childhood.

It's so nice to be around people other than my brother who understand all the monkey island inside jokes. Wow that sounds really nerdy. I'm glad I hide it well from the outside world.
