Do you still like Simpsons?
You probably know that Simpsons is now hated. Even though I still like it. However new season plans seem big and stupid as shit. What about you? Do you still like it?

I didn't even know it was still on TV. I remember when it was on television when i was a kid. Weird that it is still on. Not Really TBH.
Nah, I honestly never actually liked it in the first place either though.
Simpsons did it.
Seriously, not really, I've always found Family Guy way funnier.
Yes
It's okay I guess but Family Guy is better.
I've never really been hugely into The Simpsons, but I do know it's gone on for far too long, and the recent episodes I have seen are not even funny. South Park, after 17 something seasons, still manages to be smart and funny with it's humor.
The Simpsons is hated? I haven't heard that. I haven't watch it in years, but I met the director of animation twice and he's a super nice guy so...
I have always liked it. Perhaps watching it since I was a baby may affect this.
I used to love it but I stopped caring around the 300th episode, haven't really watched much of it since but what little I've watched of the newer episodes is pretty bad.
Though I find it odd that people are saying that they prefer Family Guy as that's somehow I find even more awful than newer Simpsons episodes, besides when it was good it was a really smart and well written show, something that I'm pretty sure Family Guy has never been, then again I just don't like Seth McFarlane's writing or humour in general.
I never really got into The Simpsons, I've always liked Family Guy better. Just my opinion.
It's hated? And no, I never was into it. I've probably seen only a handful of episodes and the movie. For some strange reason I had The Simpsons: Hit & Run on gamecube when I was younger and would play it sometimes, it basically was the Simpsons mixed with PG-rated GTA antics.
I've seen the older episodes ike 3-4 times each and whenever they're on tv, I'll gladly watch it and enjoy it as much as the first time. On the contrary, I have no desire to watch the new episodes again. So yeah, it's true that the Simpsons are not as good as they used to be, but do I hate it? Nah.
Old Simpsons are probably the best cartoon show. Newer episodes are like a light Version of Family guy , they changed every major character personality to the point where you can't recognize them anymore.
Meanwhile South Park has been getting better and better every season.
I thought it was ok in earlier seasons, but now it's just awful. I don't blame the showrunners though, its gotta be hard to write new material for 25+ years
love all of those cartoons. but i find south park more enjoyable now
Modern Simpsons still has great episodes (Brick Like Me), and really good episodes (Bull-E), but they're a lot more hit and miss than they used to be. No episode is particularly bad, but most episodes aren't really memorable any more.
Krusty's dad sums up my thoughts for most modern Simpsons episodes well in his last episode, Clown in the Dumps (which is exactly what I thought of that episode too): "eh".
The Book Job, which was pretty new, was one my favorites.
Nowadays no, I can't say I like the Simpsons anymore, but the older Episodes were my favorite thing ever.
Old people hate simpsons because it's "not what it used to be", a lot of young people (teens and younger) don't even watch the simpsons. Personally, I've always liked the Simpsons. It's never been laugh out loud funny, but it's always been entertaining. Don't have a favorite or least favorite episode. Can't even name an episode and I've seen hundreds over the past decade and a half.. (except maybe, mr. plow because it's hard to forget). Haven't watched it on tv in a long time, but watched an episode on the internet recently. Whether the show has the "good messages" it use to or not, still a quality animated show to me.
I don't really watch it anymore, so idk
Still, i heard about the plans of killing Bart, but there's no way they're actually gonna kill him, they said the same about Brian in Family Guy and they brought him back a few episodes later.
There's no need to worry about them trying to do something like South Park or Family Guy, where they kill Bart in regular continuity. They already stated that the episode is going to be in the newest Treehouse of Horror, so anything goes there (they've killed just about every character on the show at one point or another in those, since they're out of continuity from the main series).
Nah, Seth MacFarlane, Matt Stone and Trey Parker do things better. Family Guy and Southpark are still funny imo.
Current episodes may be hated, but the early seasons will always be loved for the comic gold many of them were. I don't watch the series regularly anymore, but I can't really say I dislike the Simpsons just because the current episodes suck. It was a big part of my childhood and like I said, the new ones don't taint the old.
And anyway, the worst Simpsons episode is still better than the best Family Guy episode.
I still like it, though i don't watch it as much as I used to. Its not as good as the earlier series, like pre-season 10 stuff. To be honest, I think it should end. They must be running out of ideas by now lol
There was a period in my life where I made time every Sunday night for The Simpsons, mostly through the 90s. Never got around to the new stuff until earlier this year when one of the channels had a marathon going. Gotta admit the material was still hilarious.
It has lost it's lustre to other shows (cough Family Guy cough), but I still like it, even though it is becoming more stupid than funny recently.
It hasn't really mattered since about 1997. Most of the shows since then have been mediocre. The movie was great, though.
I love all that type shit,Simpsons, family guy I'd watch it all day.
There's clearly much more effort put into each episode of Southpark, each episode always conveys a social idea and makes fun of it in hilarious ways.
I remember sneakily watching Family Guy and Simpsons behind my mom's back when I was a kid.
She doesn't want me to watch those kind of shows, so she would switch the TV off or flip to another channel when she catches me.
I've never been into The Simpson at all, not that funny or interesting.
And that's what makes it so great, the fact that they're not afraid to tackle any social, political, or pop culture trend, and the fact that they do it all in 6 days also helps.
I loved the episode that made fun of the gender binary.
They even got death threats from terrorists for making fun of Mohammad.
I forget the name of it, but I love the episode where the Internet stops working and the Marsh family goes to California in Grapes of Wrath fashion, it really mocks how dependent we are on the Internet nowadays. Also the Scientology episode is hilarious, it's sad though that the guy who voiced Chef quit after that episode aired.
It's "Over Logging" of Season 12, you can watch it on their website if you want
Oh yeah, the Scientology episode was what inteoduced me to the "religion" and it was really funny, along with the Mormon episode (and their musical).
Yes.
I have yet to see The Book of Mormon, I heard it was great but I just never got a chance to see it.
Well, I've got the news that Bart Simpson will die at the hands of Sideshow Bob this fall. And it will be in this year's Treehouse of Horror. Fortunately, Bart's death will only be temporary for the remainder of the upcoming Halloween episode.
