CD Projekt RED is basically the shining paragon of the game industry at the moment.

No DRM policy, free DLC, no preorder or retailer exclusives, constant patches and support pretty much every week, free upgrades to the enhanced editions, releasing AAA games that actually work on launch, doing more than pretty much every larger developer with less than HALF the budget, actually treating their paying customers well, and just releasing damn good games.

  • So whats ur favorite game from cd project red just curious i have never heard of em but im still curious what ur favorite game from this company is?

  • Ok i know them then since i have heard of the witcher series so i have heard of them and know of em just never knew the company's name so yeah thanks for the mind refresher

  • I'm torn honestly since games are so diverse today I'll categorize them

For gameplay, free roam and fun: Rockstar and Bethesda

For story, characters etc: Telltale, Quantic Dream, Dontnod

If I had to choose one? Probably Bioware since they made my 2 favorite series of all time. Dragon Age and Mass Effect.

  • Every time I think of Bioware vs Bethesda I think of Fallout 3 vs Mass Effect 3 and I think the answer couldn't be anymore clear

  • DA:I definitely has amazing bits however the only thing it has similar to Skyrim is open world and side quests. Dragon Age is more about dialogue choices and how they affect the story. I compare these two in terms of Content, world size, gimmicks, leveling, stories, guilds/groups, quests, and gameplay which one is better on each part and better overall? I'll say Skyrim

    1. Rockstar
    2. Telltale
    3. Naughty Dog
  • TellTale and Rockstar games...and I think Gameloft :D

Oh I have a bunch of video game developers that I love, Nintendo EAD, Retro Studios, Monollith Soft, Intelligent Systems, Treasure, Rockstar, Rocksteady, Kojima Productions, Telltale, Bioware, Remedy, Naughty God, Insomniac, Sucker Punch, Square Enix, CD Project Red, and I'm probably forgetting about a few others.

Edit: Also Valve. Can't believe I forgot about Valve, especially since I watched this wonderful video yesterday:

Haven't gotten it back yet, probably won't get it until exams are over.

  • I cannot decide on one, so I shall list three; this being Bethesda, Rockstar and CD Projekt Red.

    1. Rockstar
    2. Telltale
    3. Naughty Dog
    4. From Software
    5. Bethesda
    1. Bioware: Great stories, characters, dialogue and gameplay. Fairly nice company as well.
    2. Telltale: Great stories and characters, and fantastic dialogue. Great community.
    3. Bethesda: Insanely awesome open-world gameplay, good dialogue. The company itself seems to be filled with aholes though.
    4. CD Projekt Red: The Witcher series is great, and they are legitimately the nicest company when it comes to policies/dlc.
    5. Bungie: again great people, and they support my favourite web series (red vs blue).

I don't really know in which order I should put them and which ones I should actually list.

Blizzard, Square Enix (as a developer, not as a publisher), Valve, Telltale Games, Dontnod Entertainment and Rocksteady Studios.

    There are some others too.
