Game Dev Nights

If any of you are in or near Philadelphia PA, Cipher Prime (Auditorium, Splice, Pulse, Duet, etc) hosts a game dev night in their studios, open to the public from 7-10 pm on Thursdays. It's a chance for the community to find groups to make games with, meet local devs, and talk shop.

I'd love to see any of you out there tonight if you're in the area.

If you're not, do you have a dev club in your hometown? What is it like?

    There's a game dev club in Rochester, NY called Rochester Indies Anonymous. I'm a member of that group, but haven't had a chance to actually attend any meetings as they're not exactly close. I'm in lower central New York, so it's over 100 miles away. It's the closest game group to me that I know of though, as it's about twice the distance to get to New York City or Philadelphia from here.
