Why do you believe they are not making it better? Because you think they are working on Minecraft instead?
That isn't how it works - each game has its own team. It isn't the same people trying to divide their time between Game of Thrones and Tales From the Borderlands and Minecraft. They're hyping Minecraft because it's their new game, but the people working on it aren't taking anything away from the people working on GoT.
I think people should calm down about the final episode taking awhile to come out. Telltale probably wants to make sure it's perfect since people haven't been liking the series much.
Killing Brit. That SOB totally had it coming to him... for killing an eight year old girl. The audacity of that jackass blaming Gared for getting sent to the wall.
The charming Forrester brothers. I think both Rodrik and Asher are charming in their own ways.
Since people haven't been liking the series much.
Umm... Speak for yourself. I absolutely LOVE it and from what I have seen, people seem (not everyone, of course) to like it too. Hate started mostly after episode 5.

Thread: Am I the only one is is annoyed that TellTale are taking their time to release episode 6
I know its good that they are taking t… moreheir time to make the game better but I believe that they are not making it better, like all they post on their twitter page is bloody minecraft which is really annoying. I've been waiting over 2 months for this episode and we don't even get any information, I know I may seen kinda rushed and abit ignorant but I really want game of thrones now we have been waiting for ages!
Normally I wouldn't mind waiting this long If I knew the episodes where going to be near flawless but unless it's Sam and Max with Telltale games that's never the case, so whats up with the wait times? The GOT finale comes after the next Tales of the Borderlands which I'm guessing hits on the 20th so expected to release on the 27th or Nov. 3

I've had fun with this game, but coming from an ASOIAF/GoT fan who was not familiar with TTG, I've been a little dissappointed with the game. This wait hasn't helped my opinion.
I think this discussion's calmed down a little after receiving some news about Episode 6. The no-news drought was killing everyone, myself included, but now things have settled down even just by a little bit.

I disagree completely. Business wise they will release Minecraft first regardless of whether the final episode is already done or not, which it very likely is on the cusp of being so. I'm aware that's a bold assumption but I feel it to be true. To release another game, Tales from the Borderlands respectively so soon would diminish the attention they want Minecraft to receive, so safely estimate Tales comes out two to three weeks after Minecraft is released and Game of Thrones follows that pattern. Busy can have several different meanings(i.e. putting polish on a game while they let Minecraft take center stage.) Just center your expectations around that time frame or longer.
I love that line! I usually play with a "Never kill" mindset if I have a choice, it just doesn't feel right to play Asher that way. I have to play him like:

additional work to implement even more storybranching is the only justification I'll accept for this fucking delay.
So I will stand by these words, but I can understand how players wouldn't even accept that reason.
Telltale's player base has asked for our choices to matter more for ages !!! Ever since after TWD1. And we were constantly promised such improvement, every new game, TWD2 was originally announced with this promise, written in black and white (for a disappointing result, 3 endings were indeed an improvement but not quite what we expected). This additional weight of player's choices is something Telltale could have been expected to do and plan from the first day they began to work on GOT, not suddenly before the finale of the game because episode 5 had mixed reception and they need to put special effort to save the overall opinion on the whole game.
make choices matter more
Again, if that is really the reason for this unbelievable, excruciating, frustrating delay, okay, I will swallow the pill.
But I understand players who don't think Telltale is doing us a huge favour here because basically they should have worked in this direction from day one of their work on this game.
All this delay bullcrap (like every delay in the history of Telltale games did) reeks like improvisation and lack of preparation.
Yeah, it's pretty funny that people complained about how they felt choices could matter more in the earlier episodes, only to have the same … morepeople turn around and complain when Telltale has said they are taking longer this episode to make choices matter more (given how Episode 5 ends).
I've been having this kind of dream too! Last night, I dreamed that we (I was with Asher) couldn't fight Ludd and Gryff because they locked themselves in a room that I think is the one the "negotiation" with Rodrik took place in, so Asher blocked the door and set fire to the whole place.
They have the main story planned prior to each Season; I think the culprit of slower releases is that they spend a long amount of time revising numerous small parts of the story to accommodate for fan feedback (see Telltale revising Tales from the Borderlands to have romance between Rhys/Sasha for fan service, or [just my own prediction here] revising the finale of Walking Dead: Season 2 to have the main conflict involve Jane instead of Luke once people predicted Luke vs Kenny in the earlier episodes.)
You are correct in that they do "improvise" the finer details, but they've always done so - even in older games of theirs where episodes were 4-6 hours long with much more interactivity, and were released on a genuinely monthly schedule. Ever since the success of Walking Dead: Season 1 (where they updated the circumstances that players would be presented choices in from feedback in earlier episodes), they have since placed a larger priority on responding to feedback and fan service over their original monthly schedule. At this point, I think it's just a matter of Telltale needing to refine the process where the writers pick which hills they want to fight on as opposed to going all in on fan feedback at the cost of waiting 2.5-4 months for an episode.

make choices matter … [view original content]
Okay so the GoT finale will come AFTER the TFTB finale and AFTER the M:SM premier - so what are the odds of Episode 6 coming out this October?
LiS Finale will release October 20th, meaning Telltale will probably release at least 1 episode by the 20th as well, so maybe the Tales finale will be the first to release this month?

Well, they are actually going to release the finale on Oct 27th or Nov 3rd.
So it's going to come out soon.

Speak for yourself! GoT is my favorite Telltale Game!
I love certain aspects of this game.
Has the Q&A been held? If so where can I find it?
It hasn't been released yet.
Darn, I put September, didn't I?
Thanks.
Don't bother, no matter how many times you try to tell these people, they never listen. I've tried.
How many times we have to say that they have different teams for the games?
Have some bacon sir.
Thank you very much, good sir.

It's probably due to the determinant PC's, there's also a lot Episode 6 has to show since Episode 5 was so short.
I've had fun with this game, but coming from an ASOIAF/GoT fan who was not familiar with TTG, I've been a little dissappointed with the game. This wait hasn't helped my opinion.
They will probably be released the day after the premier or hopefully the week of release to build some hype.
November is real?
I think this discussion's calmed down a little after receiving some news about Episode 6. The no-news drought was killing everyone, myself included, but now things have settled down even just by a little bit.
I want them to take as much time to get Episode 6 right as they see fit. Get it right, not quickly.
I saw a teaser of episode 6 in my dream. And in my dream, the teaser was narrated by Charles Dance.
Wait, so you're telling me I have to wait another month? Iz U avin' a lafff?
Would be cool to see Tywin in the final episode.
Can I just sleep the whole month and wake up with the finale on my PS3?
You now what? Maybe I will sleep 3 years and wake up with my college degree.
If I don't see it next Tuesday I'll just-...
Oh wait, it's been about ten weeks already and I'm not supposed care anymore.
@cussbunny Although I am very exicted for the finally, I totally agree with you.
Well I sure hope you're a greenseer.

Asher cant wait anymore
I love that line! I usually play with a "Never kill" mindset if I have a choice, it just doesn't feel right to play Asher that way. I have to play him like:
KILL EVERYTHING
Even since we have been waiting for episode 6, I occasionally have these dreams. I am starting to believe I am becoming a greenseer. :P
GoT came out a week later after TftB Ep 1, so...

i know thats actually part of the game bc in one of my playthroughs asher said that but how do you get that dialogue choice?

Aww, I never got that line when I played. What dialogue do you have to select?
If you decide to kill the soldier (not Tazal) in episode 2, Asher will say that line

Minecraft Story Mode is the first game to release this month (October 13th), Tales from the Borderlands and Game of Thrones will release after that.
You play on ps3 too? Did you get that glitch that everyone else that played this game on ps3 did?
