I am totally on board with that opinion, I wasn't a massive fan of Amid the Ruins, but I saw good parts in it. Same here, hell I loved this episode, but it was going to be the weakest episode of a great series until the last 15 minutes. Yes the Tyrion scene was dumb, not going to defend that, yes the traitor bit could have been done better, we can more or less agree on that. But that last 15 minutes, it all made sense, it was the saddest thing Telltale has done in a while, it was the hardest choice period, and you can make a good argument for both choices, they felt like they had been built up to that moment. That one scene made the episode go from a 7 to a 9 for me, its a great example of one great scene making everything better. Also on the list on controversial opinions, I for one like the show "slightly" more then the books of which I read, and I have the completely evil and totally worthy of being stoned to death opinion of really really loving Frozen. So I definitely know what a unpopular opinion is like.
The Episode 5 hate is getting annoying as hell, especially as someone who really liked that episode. Now I know what it felt like to be someone on these forums who actually enjoyed Amid the Ruins around its launch time
I wonder how Mira will learn of that. Mom killed all the ravens, after all.
Maybe Andros (if Cersei didn't kill him) will tell her. I mean, since Andros works for Ludd, maybe Ludd will tell him so that he can torment Mira. Or maybe Andros gloats about it to Morgryn and Morgryn breaks the news to her.
Yea it looks like if there is a Season 2 it won't be coming till like 2017 maybe. But even though that's a long time away I'm not that upset, since it will probably release alongside Telltale's Marvel game and since I love both Game of Thrones and Marvel...
I remember reading in a headcannon thread that people feel like her and Asher were as close as Rodrik and Talia are. Either way, I think she'd be upset if she hears about either of her brothers being killed
So... Episode 5 may have just been the lowest rated installment of the episodic game series so far - with its only saving grace being that controversially painful ending that made the Red Wedding and Jon Snow's supposed death look like a birthday party by comparison - and it likely that sent countless players into serious bouts of melancholy and depression.
I wonder if Episode 6 will redeem the series as a whole, if it will live up to what the penultimate episode seems to be building up towards - though sadly it is going to be too short - maybe an 1 hour and 20 minutes - not nearly enough time to explore the repercussions of the final choice made in Ep.5 and will also probably rush the North Grove storyline (seriously, all we got was filler in Gared's storyline so far when it should have ended with him finally discovering the North Grove - instead both its discovery and potential use could be rushed into the final episode - and the chances of Gared returning to Ironrath anyway seem kind of... impossible.
Well, at least highly improbable.
I'm curious about the latest announcement for Episode 6 so far - it seems to be heading towards a good direction, which is a relief to think about - Episode 6 needs to at least be better than Episode 5 - though at this point I've kind of lost hope that it could be the best in the 6 part series as a whole.
No matter that the majority of Asher fans say - I still think Rodrik escaping was the better choice - the relationships he's built with the Whitehills need to come towards a memorable climax from all the intense build up - its awesome to hear that he and Grryff will be meeting again, presumably in battle, where that arrogant Whitehill might just taunt him over that painful ending in Episode 5 - I'm really hoping for there to be a battle between the two - though I'm not sure if Gryff is actually a good fighter or not - then again Rodrik's probably no longer in his prime either.
You bring up a good point...we've never actually even seen Gryff fight before, besides punching Rodrik a few times. Even in the last episode he had his men do the dirty work for him while he just sits on his horse. I'm curious how well he'd fare in an actual swordfight.
Oh, man. I just finished Episode 5 a couple days ago and I nearly cried! I want the next episode to come out soon!! Hopefully it's in September! I'm just dying for those Whitehills to get it!! I hated choosing between Asher and Rodrick and I hope Gryff pays for what he's done!! >:(
So I'm not the only one! I don't know if I can trust him entirely but I ship him and Mira so hard! XD I feel that he's a good guy though. His eyebrow game is pretty strong but hey, I'm all about Gared. Js smirk emoji

Ahhhhh, that feel... The feel of waiting...
Its not a good feel
I know the feel, bro...
Thank god Morgryn will be back
Yeah, he's such an interesting character.
Tom probably will be back too.
I hope Rick doesnt die... I would really be happy if he and Mira get together and make babies...
Wait. Who is Rick? You mean Rodrik?
Rickard Morgryn = Rick | I assume Reggie meant Morgryn?
This handsome fella
Awww ^-^

He could mean Rickard, which is Morgryn's first name, I assume that is what he meant.
I want Mirgryn to happen, they seem like the perfect "game" playing couple. I don't even know if Morgryn plays "the game" but still.
I'm pretty sure he does. He gives me a "Littlefinger" vibe, which is why I am VERY suspicious of him.
Yeah, that was my first thought too - Little-bloody-finger.
Forget what i said about Mirgryn. I want to see how Mira reacts to yet another one of her brothers dying.
I predict he will break many hearts on Episode 6. Fan's hearts, I mean :P
Amid the Ruins was fucking awesome, best ep of the Season if you ask me!
For the Watch
For the Watch
Bow to those holy eyebrows X_X
Why would you want that, man? Do you dislike happines?
I wonder how close Mira was to Asher and Rodrik.

I just thought it would be interesting
and after episode 6 i will be sad because season 2 will come in a distance far far away.. i really enjoyed this game ttg , well done.

Everybody is like "hyped" for the next episode, and i'm there, feeling.
Why must you remind me ;_;

Aw yiss, gotta love his eyebrow game.

I chose Asher so replace that with Asher and I feel you ;-;
I love episode 5 too.
Yeah, sure... But don't you wonder how it plays out with Asher being alive? Well, i got 2 words for ya...
