Heh true true.
Sure it's too short if you're not used to playing telltales Episode based games. I actually thought it would be over soon a while before it actually was. So, nice surprise :-)
However i enjoyed every bit of dialogue, therefore it took some more time than just rushing through it.
one really annoying thing is some of the voices, and the music isnt all that good, i really like the theme tho and the music with the voodoo lady
Its also quite nice that you walk alot more, it isnt like in the other games where alot of teleporting here and there, it really adds to the game.
but i didn't rush trough the game i read every dialog that i could encounter but as i have played many adventure games (sam&max hit the road, the new two episodes, manic mansion, day of the tentacle, indiana jones 3&4, monkey island 1,2,3&4 jack keane, zac mckracken + fan sequel, and many more) i can say for myself that it's not that hard but indeed very very funny and enjoyable!
I was slightly disappointed that the episodes storyline ended where it did, I never expected him to
The episodes short feeling was also fueled by the gaping need for a third act somewhere in it. But I only counted 2 major acts,
So the episode was short in story, not quality or quantity as others may suggest.
So im covered... but I added tags none the less
Also, I'm so glad several running gags from the previous games made it to the game.
Really didn't mean the message to be snippy, and it wasn't for me, it was for anyone else that might have wandered into this thread. Just good practice to always put in spoiler tags any time you mention a specific event in a game/movie/book/what have you if it's not a well known happening (like things in the official trailer being mentioned really don't need tags I suppose).
Personally, the "wind-changing" act felt like two acts. There were two parts: one that lasts from the introduction of "Deep Gut" to getting through the door to the wind machine, and then one where you figure out how to work the wind machine. Yes, each was shorter than the act that preceded it (the pirate crimes), but they still felt like separate parts.
But Monkey Island is no stranger to thin acts. In CMI, Parts 1, 3, 5, and 6 are all razor thin, and the only two parts with meat on them (granted, it's a lot of meat) were 2 and 4.
um, that's twee words...
Not really, the modifier (too) isn't necessarily counted as a word. So technically it could be said to be two words.
