Konami's gaming division is in a death spiral
If you’re looking for one, single story behind what’s happening at Konami, you won’t find it. There’s a storm coming, and Konami’s right in its path. The gaming giant, once known for marquee franchises such as Castlevania, Contra, Silent Hill, and Metal Gear, has been hit with criticism over its attitude towards its critics, its own staff, its fans, and even its top-level developers. But how did it get so bad, so fast?
Konami, for those of you who don’t know, has been around for a half century. Any child of the 80s remembers Castlevania and all the broken controllers that were left tossed around living rooms throughout America. Metal Gear, arguably the company’s strongest franchise, actually came around as an accident. Its developer, the now-famous Hideo Kojima, switched the game from a shooting to a stealth based game, after he realized game systems of the time just couldn’t handle the gunfire onscreen.

I have no sympathy I hope they get destroyed they sold their soul making mobile games and microtransactions now treating their staff like shit they are a cancer to gaming my only hope is some other company buys their games rights
