What should i spend my free game voucher on?

Hi, like many I preorderd MI and after completing that, I am wondering what to spend my free game voucher on?

I already have the first season of Sam and Max, so am leaning towards Wallace and Gromit, but which episode is the best?

Or do you recommend using it with something else?

    I'm also doubtful as to what to get, I'm ordering both Sam & Max seasons and I'm really into Wallace and Gromit style. Bone or Strong Bad will do it.

    I, personally, didn't enjoy the bones games nearly as much as some of the other games Telltale does. They were made earlier on and just aren't quite as refined with the interface (or humor) as the other stuff Telltale does. Both seasons of Sam and Max are great, although I like the second season better than the first, particularly the last three episodes. (For some reason Ice Station Santa just wasn't as good as the other eps-- except for the guns around the north pole, that was comedic gold). Strong Bad was good, very similar to the strong bad emails with Dangeresque by far being my favorite episode. But 8-bit was also a very good episode, and Strong Badia the Free coming in as third favorite. Although, I would take Sam and Max any day over Strong Bad.

    Wallace and Gromit, still very true to the original style and more subtle humor. (Although if you get the first one, be sure to have Wallace pull the lever that's supposed to get him out of bed, there's a funny little line there.) It'd be hard for me to say which episode I liked the best, though. You might want to see what other people say on that. I haven't played the CSI gamesor the poker game, just because they didn't appeal to me as much.

    I think I'm going to get a W&G episode with my freebie.
    Is there any time limit on when we have to redeem the coupon? I could save it for Sam & Max season 3..... or perhaps another game (Loom remake, Maniac Mansion etc)

    I would recommend these:

    SBCG4AP:
    Strong Badia The Free - Best overall episode of SBCG4AP. Very funny, very good story for an adventure game.

    Baddest of the Bands - This is hands down the funniest episode of SBCG4AP. I was bursting out laughing multiple times. The story gets repetitive, though.

    Wallace:

    Fright Of The Bumblebees - This was an okay episode. The plot wasn't very good but the humour was alright.

    The Last Resort - If you must choose one W&G, choose this one. This has a great plot, great length, and great humour.

    Muzzled - It was a great episode, I just don't feel you should start the series with this particular episode, It would just seem... off.

    It depends. If you want more Sam & Max, go with Ice Station Santa.
    Like W&G better than Strong Bad? Get The Last Resort.
    Like Strong Bad better than W&G? Get 8-Bit is Enough (If you don't mind it being the last episode.)

    Season 2 of Sam & Max is a lot better than the first, and all episodes in S2 come highly recommended.

    I used mine on Telltale Texas Hold'em since it's the only Telltale game I didn't already own.

    Season One of Sam and Max was great, but Season Two just TOTALLY blew it out of the water in every respect. Puzzles, humor, story, music, simply everything is a gigantic leap forward, and Season Two of Sam and Max remains my favorite title from Telltale and my favorite game overall in the past five years. Even if you've already experienced Season One, I'd say Season Two comes highly recommended.

    Well lets see:
    I liked the catchy songs in Season 1. (war song, JUst You and Me (and Ted E. Bear).
    And there are actually some songs on the Season 2 Soundtrack I don't like at all.
    (T.H.E.M., Jurgens Lair Suite, La Canción de los Mariachis)
    In Season 2 they did not use the great Midtown Cowboys Jingle for Midtown Cowboys.

    ^^just my opinion on the Soundtrack.

    These are musical numbers though, and I was definitely thinking more in the terms of background music, for one. And Season Two had great musical numbers as well, from the C.OP.S song to the excellent Mariachi musical number.

    Actually in my opinion Strong Bad really is a hit and miss, if you like the humor of the web cartoon then go for it if not then stay away. Unfortunately I am one of the hate it persons, so Strong Bad probably will be left out, I have higher incentive to buy the poker game than the Strong Bad episodes :-(

    I think the buying choice depends really on what kind of setting you like all of the games are excellent (also the Bone ones, they made me buy the book)
    but if you dont like the setting the chances are high you wont like the game either. Telltale is a maste of producing games which resemble perfectly the original cartoon settings, down to the slightes nuances. The best example probably for this is Wallace and grommit where you even can see fake fingerprints on setting 9.

    I'm Having the same dilemma; which game to get with my free voucher from the pre-order. Iv'e played and enjoyed Sam and Max Hit the Road and the season 1 episode abe lincoln must die, so I was thinking of trying an episode from season2. (I would buy season 1 first so it makes sense for me to not get an episode from season1 that I would buy anyways and have a duplicate.)

    Although, now after reading this thread, maybe I should try stong bad or Wallace....:)

    Well, I spent mine of Sam and Max season 2 "Chariots of dogs". The only one I had played up until now has been the Abe Lincoln must die freebie, and I have to say in the end, that episode worked VERY well with that one concerning characters connecting and variety of play.

    That particular ep had some incredible writing due to what the whole ep is about. I loved it. Although I really want the rest of the season oh so badly now, as it didn't exactly have a conclusion either.

    You will never regret the day you bought the Season Upgrade for Season 2 (27$). If you do. You can get an upgrade because you have one of the episodes. Just enter the Order-number of your free game.
