Ya, whenever Guybrush danced I lold and also when he jumps of the Narwhal. He looks so clueless doing that.

The transitional scenes when you go to the main menu/map view.
    The moving clouds.

When the Doll Collector told me Qapla! Glad they put some Star Trek stuff in the game :)

For the non-trekkies, this is Klingon for Good Bye.

    Actually "Qapla'" means "success".

I assume you also recognized the "Enhance upper left quadrant" or which one it was.

I found this scene way more girlish.

The ridiculous innocent expression on guybrush's face when he stops talking to the glassblower...like his bottom eyelids go up.

Guybrushes comment on the printing press.

The news reporter being called "Davy J Nipperkin"..

The whole thing was brilliant though really
  • My Top 10:

1)Guybrush being slapped after the "Dora the Explorer" remark.

2)Rowboat->Broken Rowboat->Useless Rowboat->Utterly Unfixable Rowboat->Rotting Heap of Junk Vaguely Resembling a Rowboat->Fascinating Yet Pointless Sea Flotsam.

3)Guybrush's ridiculous remarks: "I need that like I need a fourth nipple." (He already has three?!)

4)The terms "glory hole" and "fundament." (Used by the glass-blower.)

5)The first time I shot the cannonball, which caught the wind and smashed into the glassblower's unicorns.

    6)The Voodoo Lady's "-like a volcano!" remark.

7)That LeChuck's instrument of doom is La Esponja Grande with "tremendous exfoliating abilities."

    8)Crystal Ball->Legendary Paperweight of Yemalla.

9)The seagull being sucked into the statue.

10)The Wallace and Gromit, "Cheeese!" reference.

Least favorite joke: The "U-tube" reference. Not funny. Not even a little. But at least the "wife"/"arch nemesis" joke made up for it right afterwards.

Also, dancing Guybrush seems a bit out of character. Funny? Maybe. Ridiculous. Yes.

I have it on good authority that the bird is in FACT the word.

Bird is the word? I hadn't heard...

I also love that they actually used the suggestions from the private pirate forum

The Voodoo Lady's look. That skull-painting on her face is just so freaking cool! XD
Also, I really liked the enviroment on the island, it felt AWESOMELY like the Monkey Island series should feel!

-The monkey liking the electrocution, hehe.
-The weird noise DeSinge makes when stuck in the idol.
-When DeSinge says he will examine Guybrush with "the pointy sticks of science."
-Guybrush, Glassblower and the Guy with wooden legs going red eyed and crazy-ranting becuase of the pox of Le Chuck.
-Guybrush hitting/slapping himself, pulling his own hair.
-The fact that this game is a lot more sadistic then the others.
-The fact that Nipperkin is Harry Moleman, and the Treasure Hunter is Hugh Bliss, I think!

I've been reading the forums for as long as i can remember... and have been following every TT game since Sam and Max Season 1 episode 1 (went back and got Bone)... and I've never really felt the need to post until now...

How could no one have mentioned when you try to sacrifice the doll on the altar..???

That made my brother and I laugh for a good 10 minutes until we could play again!

    Murray??

    Murray??

That's what I was gonna say xDD I loved that word. MURRAYYY!!

-I liked when Guybrush was trying yo impress De Singe saying: yes... and I need a rubber chicken with a pulley...

-That hand xD The final battle with his own hand was hilarious xD

    -The first-green-then-red-carpet.

I'd say the two things that made me laugh the most were the Voodoo Lady's entire "...Like a VOLCANO!" scene, and Guybrush's ultra-wussy bomb throwing.

I mean...really? The most exaggeratedly limp-wristed, wimpy throw you can imagine? BRILLIANT. :D

The You-Tube reference :P That was awesome.
  • edited July 2009
Hehe I liked the one with the wishing well.
When Guybrush wishes he was the mightiest pirate, he turns into LeChuck. LOL!
  • edited July 2009
    I forgot one!

When Guybrush examines the altar, he wonders about the sacrifices that might have been performed on it. Then he runs his finger along the surface, pops it into his mouth, and says, "Hmm. Tastes like chicken." XD

I enjoyed the whole U Tube punnage.

Damn! Everytime I post something I notice someone a few posts before who has already said it. The amount of things I've deleted...

When Guybrush steals the unbreakable bottle after that asks "what's this?".

The Voodoo Lady's eye movements, big lips and breast physics (LOL!) all very distracting hehe. And her voice is great.

I really liked the textures in the jungle, also all the statue textures, very nicely done.

Random guessing of the password for the creepy shack, there should have been a lot more, like the "Have you got any..." jokes in Sam and Max.

The stuff going on in club 41 and inside the doctor's house (reminded me of Monty Python) that you couldn't see, like in the old Monkey Island where you got the useless wax lips.

    Holy Ships!

When you are in the chair in De Singe's lab, getting the monkey to jump on your back then zapping him.

"I am reliably informed that the bird is, in fact, the word" - ROFL moment for me :) One among many.
