The Witcher 3's ambient music was some of the most relaxing stuff I've ever heard.

My favorite video game OST's in no particular order are:
Most Resident Evil Games = It's has a few pieces which I consider beautiful, but most of it is just very good.
Mass Effect Trilogy = Galaxy Map Theme is hands down the most incredible and spacey sounding music there has ever been. Then, there's Callista, which is like my freakin' theme song now since I listen to it every day for many hours at a time.

Both of these songs have some of the most epic remixes out there. I never stop listening to the both of them.
Final Fantasy XIII Trilogy = I know some of the other games have lovely music too, but FFXIII particularly blew me away. Dust to Dust is one of the most beautifully composed and executed songs I've ever heard. It has so much feeling in it, it's almost impossible to describe how it makes me feel. It's just lovely.

Tales of the Abyss = Older Game, but a JRPG about a beautiful world. It's actually very science related. The music hits me in the feels every time I hear anything from it since it was the game that got me through the horrendous years of my life known as High School.
Dragon Age Games = Always the love themes... so beautiful. It's too hard to pick a favorite, but Dragon Age 2 definitely hit me the most in the feels. So, this one wins.

Super Mario Galaxy = Only Mario Game that the music is like playing a game with a beautiful orchestras playing right there with you.
Fire Emblem Series = Awakening and If/Fates have some great music. The games are basically tactical simulators mixed with heavy elements of husbando/waifu pairing that have a lot to do with the story and mechanics of the game. Here's my new favorite from If/Fates that hits me in the feels so hard. In a sad, but hopeful way.

(I just found out this is the credits music. DAMMIT. I already cry at the ending of anything, but this will have me a hunched over puddle of sadness with my 3DS in my hands.)
Each of these games have masterpiece music. To me, music is the most emotion inducing thing in this world. A piece of music can bring back the exact moments I experienced at any time in my life. It's sad because some songs lifted me up when I was down, and listening to them now makes me think of what I was dealing with when they were all I listened to. Thankfully, all these songs helped carry me through all the times, good and bad. And I can always go back to them to make me smile, or to motivate me, to think and plan. Music is legit the best.
This song from Oblivion is amazing. Whenever this came on I'd stop what I was doing and just sit back and relax.

Just gonna scratch the surface of the dark beauty that is Silent Hill's music.

A gorgeous piece of music
As in Game or just track.
I would have to say Grandia has the sad beautiful music. It really expresses emotion, and makes the game so much better.

The soundtrack of Bioshock Infinite is one of the reasons why the game is epic, but if we're talking about OST with original tracks composed exclusively for the game, I'd pick Assassin's Creed (the first three games at least).
Man i love the music on The Elders Scrolls games. They have such beautiful and epic music.
I love the music from skyrim. My favorite soundtracks on a video game! I even have a library of the soundtracks from skyrim. :P
Of course Skyrim had more epic music than calm music but during night there is this calm soundtrack that plays and i love traveling in the night while listening to it!
Skyrim is one of those games that i can't play without listening to the music, is such beautiful music! Also the soundtrack in the main menu is not calm music, but is very epic and addicting to listen to! And music from Oblivion was good too.
My favourite videogame OST has to be with no doubt the one from Valiant Hearts. I'm a video game music composer myself, and I've hardly ever listened to such beautiful pieces. The Valiant Hearts soundtrack is sad and nostalgic, but somehow it manages to make you smile while listening to it. A true masterpiece.
Kara no shoujo soundtrack. Kara no shoujo is an 18+ visual novel made by Innocent Grey. One of my favorite games to date. WARNING! THE THUMBNAIL FOR THE THIRD VIDEO HAS MAJOR SPOILERS!!!

I almost cried the first time I heard this. Little big planet hereby proves that you don't need guns, gore, or violence to make a masterpiece.

The music on this game is the reason why i really love this game!

Mirror's Edge entire OST composed by Solar Fields and singer Lisa Miskovsky:

Talia is love, Talia is life
I'm not sure if I can post Telltale soundtrack in this thread but I really liked that song
enter link description here
I know this technically wasn't used in the game but i thought this was a really nice cover of the Portal 2 turret opera.
enter link description here
The original Ellen McLain version was also a nice song.
Turret Opera
Sounds innocent but haunting.

Was wondering when the 'y'all got no tastes if it ain't old' crowd would show.
I would post a bunch if I could, but as of now enjoy this awesome Bloodborne soundtrack and prepare yourselves for an eargasm.

With the release of the final DA:I DLC...I feel this definitely needs to be mentioned here.
enter link description here
Here's my pick.
Take us back.
Omg R.I.P. Lee ;___;
The feels...
This song really adds to the idea of recovering after everything falls to ruin.
I've always found the Assassin's Creed 2 soundtrack to be one of the best in the series.

I don't know if anyone knows this game, but it was a gem back in the day.

Tragic. Yet haunting.
