Any suggestions on Castlevania?

Yo how you doin guys. So I am thinking about getting into the Castlevania series. I have been told NES series are fantastic and they sure look great. However these anime styled graphics of some of those games are enough to turn me. What do you suggest?

    i've been told the NES games have stiff controls

    if i were you, i'd start with castlevania dracula x chronicles for PSP

    you can also unlock both symphony and rondo of blood with their original graphics

    If you want to put your true Gaming Skill to the chest, play Castlevania 2 Simon's quest Blind. Then we will see what is up, DO NOT CHEAT. I didn't have the option of looking up a guide.
