Favorite Video Game Character Outside of TellTale

If you have multiple that's fine; personally, I can't choose between Jack and Garrus from Mass Effect.
(I'm a big Mass Effect fan)

I'd say most of the main characters from the Mass Effect trilogy. With the exception of Ashley and Kaidan. But in all fairness, I don't think anybody liked them. If I had to pick a number one favorite though, it would either be Garrus or Thane.
Yeah, Ashley and Kaiden were pretty annoying in Mass Effect 2 and 3 with them doubting Shepard....
I personally thought Ashley was a lot more annoying. To me, I always thought Kaidan was a boring character.
Did you kill off one more than the other?
I only played the first one once, mainly because I think the sequels have a lot more replay value. I saved Ashley (stupid me) because I thought she'd be a better love interest for Shepard. Don't know what the hell I was thinking, I hated her.
Yeah, it doesn't really matter either way. They're both not there in 2, and knocked out most of 3.
Roxas:
Raiden:
Aqua:
Kasumi:
Butch:
Other than borderlands it would have to be Frank West, even though I liked dead rising 2 better.
Geralt and Ciri.
Cause I'm a sucker for father/daughter combos and they're definitely my favourite.
Hard one. I think I'd go for Niko Bellic, an overall good person forced to do bad things to keep on going.
Off the top of my head
Garrus,
Master Chief,
Claptrap,
Globox,
Dr Nefarious & Lawrence,
Joel & Ellie
I really can't decide so I will go with my childhood hero
Wheatley from Portal 2
Sly Cooper. I just hope the new film coming out next year will mean we'll eventually get a Sly 5.
I don't know if I've already commented here, But I'd go with the greatest Father in Video Game history. One that went up against all odds, Faced Hell itself, and Still came through for his daughter, even after seeing the monster she had become. And no People, It's not your overrated Shitty Joel from the Last of Us, It's not Lee Everett, and It's CERTAINLY not Kenny. It's the Polygonal master! Straight Outta West Virgina's Ghost stories! FATHER OF THE QUEEN OF DARKNESS AND BIRTHER OF GOD! IT'S HARRRRRYYYYY MASOOOOOON!!!!
I'm also a huge fan of Link from Wind Waker.
Tiny Tina. She's adorable and hilarious as hell.
Vegeta from Dragon Ball Z budokai 3
Garrus from Mass Effect, for being the ultimate bro. I take him on every mission with me. After all, "There's no Shepard without Vakarian."
Also, the original four survivors of Left 4 Dead (Bill, Francis, Zoey, and Louis). For a game with such minimal story they're surprisingly complex characters (Though obviously not to the extent of, say, characters from Dragon Age, TT's The Walking Dead, etc) that compliment each other perfectly and make a pretty fantastic and interesting team weather shooting the shit in an elevator or mowing down hordes of zombies.
And finally, Silas Greaves of CoJ Gunslinger.
I'd say... probably one of the characters from Team Fortress 2. Out of all the characters, the Solider, Heavy, Spy, Sniper, and Engineer all have the most amusing personalities, which is especially cool to see in an exclusively multiplayer FPS game.
As Rock114 was saying above with the Left 4 Dead Cast (both TF2 and L4D are from Valve), it's interesting that Valve is able to make such expressive characters in an otherwise minimalist context. The new updates for TF2 make the characters act a little on the sillier side, but earlier on, the game had a really intelligent and subtle style of humor through its characterization.
John Marston
Elizabeth
Michael De Santa
Cole and Solas from Dragon Age.
HMMM so many to choose from...
Lightning Farron from FF13 series. She was pretty rough around the edges through the series, but her character really came full circle by the end of the trilogy. I can really relate with her and the issues she goes through regarding whom she sees herself as or thinks she needs to be. That and Ali Hillis whom voices her was absolutely made for her role.
Garrus Vakarian from Mass Effect. My bro and my hoe. Garrus is just plain awesome, nuff said.
Samus Aran. A sexy badass space bounty hunter. She's the epitome of badass space warrior. Samus is a huge inspiration to be for trying to create female characters who can have the perfect balance of strong and sexy, and not be defined by being a piece of eye candy or a impossible representation of a truly female warrior. Though we all know there could never be another Samus.
Fenris and Hawke. Okay... so maybe this is more of a favorite pairing, but I really loved Dragon Age 2 for the two characters, and their romance... XD I power housed through the game in two days to see their outcome, and died waiting for 2 years to hear what would happen to them in Inquisition. The small snippet I heard in the fade restored my faith in the relationship and I'm in love all over again.. XD
Honorable Mentions:
Leon S Kennedy
Jill Valentine
Joel (The Last of Us)
Liara
Chrom and Female Avatar (Fire Emblem Awakening)
I like GLaDOS due to her deadpan insults which i found really funny.
I am also a fan of other Valve characters from all their games with Gordon Freeman, Alyx Vance, Dr Kleiner and his pet head crab Lamarr being some of my favourites.
"This is good, isn't it?"
FINALLY SOMEONE ELSE THAT LOVES SERA. NEARLY EVERY FORUM I GO ON, I SEE PEOPLE HATE HER. IT'S NICE TO FINALLY SEE SOMEONE ELSE THAT LIKES HER.
I like many characters, it's hard to pick one: Shepard from Mass Effect, Ellie from TLOU, Elizabeth from Infinity, Lara Croft, Henry from Mafia II, Trevor from GTA V, Haytham from AC, Marston from RDR, Winston from Sleeping Dogs, Vaas from Far Cry 3, boss from Saints Row, Ryan from Beyond Two Souls or Jayden from Heavy Rain.
Propably i forgot about someone...
Man, MGS4 had one of the saddest endings in gaming.
I like her too, she was funny.
I don't really have a favorite, however the one i am leaning to is the Villain guy in Hitman Absolution, he had so many great lines.

Isaac from Binding of Isaac and GLaDOS from Portal.
Sanzaru announced they have no plans for a sequel, but with hat ending we just need to hope someone cares enough.
Probably "The Boss" (Specifically from Saints Row 2). I found him likeable and funny, in spite of his oft disturbing sociopathy shown towards anyone who dared to wrong him lightly (turning off a show while another is whatching it, anyone?).
I LOVE the way she talks. And her message about the little people in the conflict.
Her dialogues with vivienne are amazing!
I mainly love the way she talks because that's how I talk too. Never thought i'd hear someone talk like that in a game. Was a pleasant surprise.
Gman from Half-Life and the Marker from Dead Space. No pics needed, carry on everyone.
Gotta go with Thane Krios from Mass Effect.
Joe Barbaro (Mafia 2)
