I don't see him as a reviewer as much as an entertainer. I feel like he often do reviews based solely on what he thinks his audience will enjoy. I can't blame him, since when he says something positive there are always people bashing him and saying that "X Company" paid him or whatever.
I certainly enjoy his style more than IGN's. And I've seen so many people in the comments section saying, "So Joe's scamming kids for money." For fuck's sake. Just because someone is doing well for himself, doesn't mean they're scamming people.

I enjoy watching his reviews. They're great entertainment and sometimes help me decide on whether or not I should get a game. I've never once thought that he changed his opinion on a game to fit others and that his reactions in the reviews are his genuine feelings.
I just wish that his "fanbase" wasn't so.. Well.... Shit.

He didn't. Was just some insensitive asshole trolling around and trying to ruin peoples views on him. The people who were going along with it were either more trolls or incredibly naive people.
i always giggle whenever i see people making fun of youtubers, you can literally taste the envy.
that being said, speaking of pissed josé, did he or did he not monetize the jewwario vid?
He changed his opinion on a game at least once (Elder Scrolls Online, who was in beta testing back then), and people bashed him for changing his opinion and actually liking the game. His first review was awful, he really trashed the game. Then he played it again not too long after his first review and posted another review, admitting he played more than ten minutes this time and actually found it fantastic. People on the comments of his second review were pretty nasty about it for being positive about the game.

I don't like IGN's reviews either. At least Angry Joe's are entertaining, even if I don't see them as actual reviews.
I never saw people saying he was scamming kids for money before, just that he got paid by game companies to not be too harsh with their games and this kind of stuff. I don't believe it, I think people can genuinely change their opinions about games.

I'm not sure if that's really how he is or if it's his gimmick. he usually ends up calming down and makes better argument then. Most of his rants he's not even really angry in, just frustrated. And even then he can still make good points. I think a lot of his complaints are pretty valid, and the rants aren't frequent.

That rant is pretty old I saw it quite a while ago, besides you'd be pissed too if someone was interfering with your work and you couldn't do shit about it, sure he probably earns more than you (Definitely more than me) for what seems like easier work (Though not necessarily because Joe's videos are pretty well edited and have fairly good production values) and sure he probably works on something he enjoys way more than most of us enjoy our work but it's still work and it's still getting in the way of his work, I think he was pretty understandably frustrated when he made that video and I think it's silly that people laugh at him because he's bothered about people getting in the way of his livelyhood, most people don't understand this but generally you have debts proportional to the salary you earn so people with higher salaries need those to pay their higher debts and sure their quality of life is probably higher but the consequences of not paying debts are still pretty harsh on pretty much everyone, even rich people struggle paying debts.
Though as someone that has vomited stomach acids and collapsed on the floor remaining completely immobile for 4 hours because of hunger it's not like I don't get how people find it laughable that he calls that a problem, I do it all the time, I think people are silly for bitching about problems that I wish I had, because damn it those seem better than mine, however I also understand empathy and people's lack of it, after all there's only so much your imagination can do for it, but everyone has different experiences and just how I get so pissed off that I might actually punch you in the face if I see you waste food for other people it's just a non-issue because for them starving is just having a stomach-ache and feeling a bit weak, they don't think it's that big a deal because they haven't dealt with full on starvation and how long it actually takes to recover from it (It takes months, seriously).
Haha, I remember that review. I agreed with him for the most part considering the amount of people camping boss area's, the serious lack of proper loot (Getting a single coin from chests and even bosses), and the price of horses. Not to mention the fact that it was subscription based.
Pretty sure he only changed his opinion when ESO got rebranded to Tamriel Unlimited, changing a bunch of stuff, and ditched the subscriptions.

So I gotta agree that his fanbase is kinda lame.
Nope, he released his other review shortly after (like, on the subsequent beta weekend). He changed his opinion after playing on a different alliance with a storyline that was more his style (the Aldmeri Dominion, if I remember it correctly).
And the rebrand changed nothing, it only dropped the sub and added a cosmetic/convenience cash shop. The game is still pretty much the same. The bugs, the bots, everything was fixed within the first month after release as it should be expected by anyone that ever participated on a beta. The rebrand happened a year later. The game was always good, it got a lot of unwarranted hate because of typical beta problems (mostly bugs) and people expecting it to be "Skyrim Online". Now it dropped the mandatory sub and suddenly everybody loves it and a bunch of people are paying the optional subscription and buying every mount skin and all the clothes on the store despite being essentially the same game. I swear I don't get people sometimes.

This video made me laugh way too much it should have.
Angry Joe makes me laugh when he cusses.
YEAH JOE!!!!!!!!
Yeah he's pretty accurate with his gaming and movie reviews. My favorite one was Fable 3. He did a perfect job reviewing that game.

I love Joe as much as the next person but I'm so tired of his whining.
That Flute solo's tho was awesome :')
I change my opinions on games all the time. I used to hate GTA V when it first came out, along with AC4 Black Flag. They just grew on me with time.
This about the Nintendo videos?
I fuckin love angry joe
His rants all together really, it was entertaining at first but now it's just annoying.

He does make good points but he carrys on like a child.
Well he is AngryJoe.
