How Would You React If...

How would you react if they made you think Luke was the deuteragonist but then at the last second killed him off and made Nick the main guy? Would you be angry at the 'ole switcharoo? Would you embrace this change? Would you like Nick to be the bigger brother to Clementine or do you want Luke to take on that role?

Comments

  • No i wouldn't want Nick, a selffish stupid and dangerously nervous guy to be her older brother figure. Luke fits perfect for this role.

  • Nick's already proved his irresponsibility.... No way Nick could be a principal figure...

  • Meh, he's a bit of a whiney bitch

  • I'd prefer Carlos, after all he managed to shelter his daughter for 2 years in the ZA, that takes some skill lol

  • Ehhhm...nope it doesn't,lol. He might think he is doing what's best for her, but sooner or later she will have to grow up to survive in this world and that's exactly what i told him in Episode1!

  • I agree with you, without knowing how to survive or whats happening out there she's dead. Just saying that living that long with no knowledge about ZA is good to a certain time.

  • Well...you can kinda compare him to Kenny about this. His daughter is the most important thing in his life and he would do anything to keep her safe, he just doesn't know what's best for her yet. (kinda like Lee before he teached Clem how to shot)

  • Well Carlos needs to open his eyes sooner rather than later just like Lee did.

I'll be honest, I wouldn't be happy about it, and I don't think it would make much sense anyway, Nick doesn't seem like a good fit for the role Luke seems to have taken in the story. Pete maybe? Still, I wouldn't be very happy if they did that either. Luke should probably take the role of the "Big Brother", or close friend. I mean, he is the one that Clem opened up to, so it makes the most sense.

  • He's still right, to an extent. He demonstrates a lot more cowardly and careless qualities than Luke. I'd rather have Luke alongside Clem.

  • I will be like "Da faq?"

  • Me neither.I like both Nick and Luke.Let me rephrase that.I LOVE both Nick AND Luke.I would kinda react the same way to both their deaths.Oh,and,OP?Let's not give TTG ideas...

  • Imagine if they kill both and let Rebecca be the "caretaker?"

  • That would be the biggest plot twist in history, dude.I would be pissed, but i would also be impressed.

  • I would hate it. Pete's dead. If my two boys die too. I would rage quit for awhile.

  • That would suck.

  • Coming from the creator of the "Leave Rebecca Alone" thread? Ha.

I really wouldn't mind, assuming it's well developed. I think Nick could work as an older brother figure just in a different way than Luke. The fact that Nick may not seem suited to it would just make seeing the relationship develop that much more interesting in my opinion. Of course, I'd like Luke to be somewhat fleshed out by the time he kicked it if that was the case.

If I had a choice between the two, I'd probably go with Nick for a possible bickering sibling dynamic (he seems amused by Clem's glaring; as he should be, that crap is adorable).
