Has anybody got this downloaded for Mac? My profile is showing episode 2 available under my games but the game itself is still showing coming soon. I'm reinstalling a fresh download now.

Why isn't there any news on the Mac Release? seriously, it seems like everybody else has played it on the consoles supported by the release date but we are the only ones who haven't on the day its supposed to come out.
Agreed. I just assumed that no one had said anything to reps directly via Twitter but didn't bother following up to look into that assertion. I would hope that they are aware of it. Incredibly frustrating.

i did and laura informed later on her twitter about the time when the tt-store version of the download was available. also some other people and i asked puzzlebox here in this thread if he knows anything about it, but maybe he didn't see it. i seriously hate the overly bitchy comments one can see sometimes here or at facebook directed towards telltale and don't want to come of as some of these folks, but telltales behaviour towards customers -the whole debacle with twau, the delaying of episodes and the late/lacking release for pc and mac via the telltale store- is starting to really annoy me. it occurs to me as really rude and unprofessional.
i'm still trying to avoid spoilers, but if this episode is really as great as everyone seems to claim it makes up a little bit of all of this for me . but the lesson i learned today is that i never ever will buy a game via the telltale store again.

Yeah, puzzlebox and Laura are the same person (hello!).
I apologise I'm not able to help directly with a lot of support questions... if you're having difficulties with this episode, please email support@telltalegames.com or post a thread in the support section, those guys should be able to help you out!
TT is doing a great job regardless of all the complaining people and the whining. I do not know how old some of these posters are but they are lucky that the next chapter to a game is 2 or 3 months away. Or that their favorite tv show is only on hiatus for 6-7 months. Back when everyone loved the Sopranos,Oz or Deadwood we hate to wait a year to two years between seasons. You negative posters should happy that A) TT makes great games that can play with your head and your heart and It isn't really that long of a wait.

If you'll look again, the comments aren't criticizing the release schedule, but more the idea of having a smooth, non-buggy release. As with TWAU episode 2, I'm sitting here with no access to the game some 8 1/2 hours after folks on every other platform that was released today except "Mac OSX non-steam" have already finished their playthroughs. I realize that's a small percentage of people compared to the number of folks who had an easy time downloading and playing the episode, but if the game is supposed to launch seamlessly, then it should, and at the very least the issue should be acknowledged (as it's clearly not isolated to a single computer). I'm not even that upset, but since it happened the past two times, I do think it's worth noting to whomever should be made aware.

Lucky!? I don't think so.... Waiting for the next episode is not the same as waiting for the next season and waiting for a game that you've spent your own money on is not the same as waiting for a tv show to air. If I buy a train ticket and thay tell me it'll arrive "soon" but I end up waiting 8 hours, I'd flip. Yeah, great game but the reason I'm not interested in TWAU or looked into other things they're making is because of the crap dealing with the 1st season of TWD and the lack of information we got. It's not like I want my money back I just want what I've paid for and at the very least, some information about when i can expect to get it. Telltale isn't selling itself to me how it could do and one person not buying their other products is nothing but I'm not the only one thinking "I'll spend my money elsewhere thanks", so it all adds up makes a difference on their progression.

I just want to play the game....i've already been spoiled of a few moments, but if someone could just tell me that someones working on it or give it a little while...i'll be fine. I just want to know if somethings going on.

Does it still say that, it's now 8 EST and mine still saids coming soon, something similar happened with TWAU episode 2 as well, why aren't macs getting the updates?
I am running Mavericks 10.9.2 on my iMac and I don't have a download for ep2 yet ..... i have emailed and tweeted and checked support does anyone have any information ??????????
Games are usually added to XBLA around the middle of the day Pacific Standard Time (which is where Microsoft is located). That's Greenwich Mean Time (GMT) -8 hours.
So for 360 it has the option to download right now, but when you go to the download page it won't let you download. I'm not sure why it's doing that since it's not supposed to be released until tomorrow (the 5th).
Sorry, I finally got the game, and I'm just getting back to the forum now.
Yes, most games are longer, I'll grant you that. But I don't know that it's necessarily fair to compare this to most mainstream video games since Telltale's episodic model is vastly different compared to most other developers in the business. There really aren't a lot of companies doing episodic video games in this way.
Now if you wanted, you could simply wait until all five episodes have been released and play them all at the same time, as you apparently did with Season 1. And if you did that, the wait would probably come out to about the same amount of time that you would spend waiting for a developer to release a full 10+ hour game. Maybe even a little shorter.
But if you don't want to wait that long, the episodic releases allow you to play it a piece at a time. I mean I just took Avengers as one that's currently popular, but take any movie series you like. Even better, take a more serialized movie series like Lord of the Rings. With those movies, you have to wait a full year to see what happens next, and it's the same amount of entertainment (well okay, in the case of LotR the running time usually comes closer to 3 hours than 2, but I think you see my point). I understand that it can be frustrating waiting months for the next episode. But I'm just saying that if you're looking purely at the amount of entertainment you're getting compared to the time in development, movies come out much worse than any Telltale game. You could compare it to television, but games take longer to develop, and frankly, a weekly schedule for something like this just doesn't seem realistic.
Regarding your point that, "business is all about what your fans want" ... well, yes and no. It's important to keep your fans happy. But part of running a business like this is also knowing when to say no to your fans. Because frankly, fans often ask for things that are completely unrealistic. Or they ask for things that they think they want but turns out to not be as good as they thought when it's actually implemented. And a business first and foremost needs to make money. Game developers don't get paid just by sitting around working on games. They get paid for the finished product that gets released. The revenue from that need to last them until they can get their next game out the door. So if they have a game that's complete and ready to ship out, I can see why it doesn't make sense from a business standpoint to not release it. Because that's potential money that could be invested in the business that's going to waste every day that it sits there not being bought by anyone. So as much as I as a fan might like to see them work ahead a little more, again, I don't know if it's likely to happen any time soon. Maybe in a few years when Telltale has grown big enough, but it doesn't seem like they're there yet.
ok i never liked avengers so let's talk about harry potter.
every harry potter movie has 2:30 hours , but every game of harry potter has … more8 hours of gameplay
so don't compare a game to a movie.
beside that any game had released were a full season story.but not in episodic way.
i played season 1 of TWD and i really enjoyed it, i've purchased it after all the episodes was released ,i finshed all the season in one week . and when they released TWD S2 i played episode 1 then i spend 2 months and half waitng for them to develop episode 2 to continue the story of the season, this is boring. i've bearly forgot what happened in episode 1
beside u said this "I've asked that myself, and I certainly would prefer if they did it that way"
and considering u as one of TWD fans, if TWD develpers are smarter than this they would do what thair fans want
because this what the business is all about
and also if they didn't have enough money to d… [view original content]

Damn, still waiting for the iOS release to come, just one more day or so! Its hard being on here without having to look at the discussions about the episode. So cant wait to play it!
Telltale you planing make a game titled "Coming Soon"? Would be your masterpiece!!!
Seriously, when release the chapter in PS3 EU?
Next Season i don't purchase the season pass. I SWEAR!!!
And again no info on EU PSN release =( Telltale why your game releases are always so disorganized? Why can't you wait some extra time untill you have solid info from Sony/MS and then release your games worldwide(or at least in all regions except problematic ones like NZ, Australia and Russia)? Why are you in such a hurry? Don't you see you just piss people off with this attitude and all this silence that always follows.

if the 360 release gets screwed up, that is the fault of microsoft, not telltale, telltale don't have a thing to do with the way the XBL store works

Ps3 EU, TBA? Any day now guys.
Yes I had that same problem. It says it's free to download but it has that international "red no circle" under where we would download it.
do over change my choices can't believe I got Alvin killed
ok dude i got your point and i think u are right

For the PS3 EU, is there any date? today, tomorrow, WHEN???
I created a count just to pose that question!!!
Should be some time this afternoon, but we can't be any more specific than that, I'm afraid.
Better than nothing! I have hope
Telltale you planing make a game titled "Coming Soon"? Would be your masterpiece!!!

Next Season i don't purchase the season pass. I SWEAR!!!
Walking dead games always release on a wednesday. So it's either today (wich is more likely) or next week.
So uh, hows everyone's day going so far!? Still hyped for episode 2? Or 3!?
3???!!
Walking dead S02 a house divided is now available for Xbox 360
What is this.... so called Episode 3?
Hope we get it hurry the f*ck up Sony EU!!!
Telltale has nothing to do with that. It's PS3 EU's problem that they did not released the episode yet.
hehehe :-{)

Well, if Telltale want to make me paralysed by surprising me with Episode 2 in the next 30 mins that would be gladly accepted!! Plez?
No EP 2 in EU. Disappointed.
