At a grown woman yes but not at a little girl who could possibly die
That's the huge difference
So you're saying you would lock a little girl inside shed to die pretty much
Like lee said "that's cold"
well what would YOU guys do? Try to picture you or someone you loved so much pregnant and somebody chasing after her/you and trying to kill … moreyou while at that? Wouldn't you be mean at anybody who comes up out of the blue asking for help? How we saw bonnie at first, is how THEY saw clementine.
Everything changes when you actually think. I would've been just like rebecca if I were her. Imagine you were lee and like the stranger was still following us - and all of the sudden a guy randomly appears asking for help and etc?
I thought she was fine. I just wish there was more of a transition between the mentality of threatening a wounded kid and asking her to listen to her baby.
She's cool in my book now that she apologized for her bitchy actions. My Clem is trying to stay alive and has no time to carry on silly vendettas because someone didn't kiss her ass. Really upset I got Alvin killed though. I know that's really going to fuck her up throughout the game.
Her apologizing and being kinder to Clem, even privately and not just putting on a show, made me like her. The icing on the cake was knowing her "thing" with Carver was definitely not something willing, meaning she didn't "cheat" on Alvin, but was, apparently, forced.
For me, I feel much more sympathetic to her and I like her regardless.
I thought this episode confirmed she wasn't forced. She just did something she later regretted. Which is why Luke spoke of mistakes when hinting at it to Clem. I also don't think she'd fear Alvin being angry at her if she'd been forced.

She's not completely redeemed, but I think Telltale really listened to all the complaints from the first episode about her being absolutely heinous in the first episode. I think the biggest issue was that they tried to make her like Larry, but she didn't have a Lilly to give us a reason to care. Alvin was so passive in the first episode he may as well have not been there.
This time, making her actually apologize and confront her bad behavior helps lessen the hate. It doesn't completely excuse her attitude, but it adds some dimension to her anger rather than just being a complete creep. Plus they gave Alvin some more to do, which helps establish context to their relationship too.
So I don't quite like her yet, but I dislike her less now.
For behaving like she did in episode 1, i wont have any problems if a situation presented itself with either saving Rebecca or anyone else, i would allways pick someone else. But do i still hate her? Nah, i just tolerate her. Walker bait. "But cmon she has a baby!" So?
She didnt care if Clem would die, i wont care if she will die.
Yeah, I feel like she is one of the more likeable characters now. They did a good job in making her feel human, rather than the cheap Larry-clone she was portrayed as in episode 1.
I've been playing this game like a decent human being, so I try not to really hate anyone. Rebecca had every reason to be bitchy and suspicious. She came around when she saw Clem wasn't a threat. Every let's play that I've seen of this game, people hated Ben, people hated Duck for some reason. They were happy or laughing when they died. I don't get that. I feel awful for characters when they die.
Except Carver. He can die whenever he wants. Fuck that guy.
She's more likeable but she still banged Carver and brought down all this heat on her and the group- Alvin included. I get that she's a person that was put in a really horrible, tough situation but she still screwed up. And in a way a lot of this, if not all of it, is her fault.
I don't hate her anymore because she became nice to Clementine, also i found the whole group more caring towards Clementine like Carlos doesn't want her to get hurt and says to Luke she should stay with the group instead of making it safe on that bridge from walkers and says she's only a little girl..... i found the group more caring and treating Clementine more as a child (like getting her inside the house instead of telling her to do all the dangerous tasks) since she found Kenny at the house.
At first I tought it was all a show just because I blackmailed her in episode 1,but then at the ski lodge she's actually nice to Clem even when they're alone. I wasn't in her hate train in episode 1 even tough I didn't liked her,but now I'm cool with her. And I saved Alvin so she will probably be even nicer to me after that.
I still don't like her. She may be more polite to Clem now but still, she's a selfish bitch. She knows Carver will never hurt her because she is pregnant, with his baby. Carlos didn't give her away even when Carver was torturing him. But all she did was hiding upstairs, saying some bullshit, hoping to find a way out only for herself and Alvin. She simply didn't care if Carver was gonna kill Carlos or not.

I dont think I ever hated her. I cut her slack because of her pregnancy and I knew that when she got to know Clementine she would calm down. Im glad to know I was right.
I didn't hate her in the first episode, she was obviously really annoying, but I managed to keep calm and I wanted to be as nice as possible. I suspected that her pregnancy was causing most of the trouble... Her situation is really complicated and I understand her mood swings. I know that Clem's situation wasn't the best either, but it's somehow natural for Rebecca to act that way at first, I gave her a chance and I'm glad I did. I was surprised that she apologised so fast but in my opinion, it's a good thing for both of them.
I actually would consider her complete turn around bad writing. To set up a character so solidly with certain characteristics and then to ju… morest completely abandon the traits is idiotic imo. I like her new character more, but you weren't supposed to like the original character. It's like if we saw Nate shoot those people then wall outside and be all 'oops, my bad, won't happen again.' (And continue his new characteristics from that point forward.)
It just doesn't really make sense to me.
She's gone from hated in the first episode to minor dislike in this episode. If there's a way I can avoid her I will, pretty much the same with most of this new group.
I'm OK with mood swings... pushing death on a child and then remarkably soon after asking for the child's opinion on what your unborn son's/daughter's name should be is ludicrous.

While yes I did think she was going to be the Larry of season 2 I think that after episode 2 she changed into a more likeable character especially towards the end with letting Clem listen to the baby kicking
I actually like her now. She's really improved, and even though this complete 180 is a tad strange, I like it. I'm glad I chose not to blackmail her back in Episode 1. I can't believe I'm saying this, but Rebecca is pretty nice.
Yep. In Episode One, she made it clear how unwanted Clem is. In Episode two, she's just having a change of heart because she's finally suffering from pregnancy pangs and realizes how low she is on the totem pole. IMO, she's still zombie and Carver bait, and as long as she stays that way, she's a cuttable loss.

This is where some interactions during the five day walk would've helped.

Heh, problem is you can't be a good Larry clone unless you have charm coming outta your ass.
no,I think her apologize is enough for me
Dodged a bullet... Nearly blackmailed her because of how bad ass Clem was, but decided against it (for my first playthrough).
i dont hate her, i dont like her

Rebecca is needlessly bitching, aggressive, and suspicious of a child. I'll always return the coldness, but I ain't gonna try get her killed.

Guess she apologised for nothing then.

i was surprised, when she apologized. Now i see her another face. That's very cute moment, when i listen her stomach.

Shes preggers, us girls do have our strange mood swings. If anything it's good writing :P
Oddly enough I do like her more. I can see where she was coming from and why she was so apprehensive.

Yea I do.
Never hated her and never will.
Who knows? Knowing carver sort of, that's something he'd do.

It's good characterization, I mean they fooled almost everyone about her being another Larry.
Cinderblock: the ultimate weapon!
